This place has a floor show at about 9 pm. Dancers and singers, it is a lot of fun. The food is very good with huge portions. I recommend the macajete dishes that are like a stew and just Delicious. The make the salsa and guacamole at your table. Really good food for pretty cheap.

Living in Southern California I get my fair share of great Mexican food. Los Zarapes was fantastic! The table side molcajete had a great kick and was fabulous. Homemade tortillas, delicious. I highly recommend dining at Los Zarapes.

We visited the Los Zarapes restaurant at the suggestion of our hotel bell boy, and we were so glad we did! The food was excellent and the service was out of this world, extraordinary. It started when we told the waiter that we were from Minnesota, and a few minutes later he came back to the table wearing a Vikings... More

My family and I went to Los Zarapes expeciting an excellent meal. What we received was an amazing dinner show. The Los Zarapes team threw all they had at us with a wonderful blend of fresh food prepped table side, perfectly prepared entre and a great magic show that kept coming with tricks that baffled our table. Lots of laughs,... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by staff at the El Cid Marina. Never did we expect it to be this amazing "Hidden Gem". Probably a place you might by-pass, giving it a quick glance because from the outside it looks a bit "sketchy".. I just can't put into words how great the service and food is. Also, on most... More

We have been coming to Mazatlan for 10 years now and have made sure to eat at Los Zarapes each time we visit! The food is always excellent, our favorites are mocajete and the steak and shrimp. The service is incredible and comes with entertainment! We could not ask for a better experience at a restaurant and will continue to... More

My wife and I had an early dinner on the outdoor balcony here. The waiters prepare fresh salsa and guacamole for your right at your table. The salsa is made with fresh garlic, sea salt, and oven roasted roma tomatoes; highly recommended!

excellent service and great value for fantastic meals. Entertainment most evenings inside or a romantic meal on the patio outside. Met Jonney the owner very charismatic with loads of information on what to do in Maxatlan.

Los Zarapes is located upstairs, allowing a decent view of sunsets. The decor is very quaint, the service was excellent and the food was tasty. A place to return to on our next trip.

We went to Los Zarapes twice during our stay in Mazatlán. The food was reasonably priced and everything was excellent. If you are there between 7pm and 8pm they have a half hour of amazing live entertainment. We were treated to very talented performances on both our visits. We will definitely go back when in Mazatlán and would recommend this... More
