We dined at LA Costa Marinera. My seafood was over fried but was insulting was that the manager refused to give us the current exchange rate and cheated us out of 8 dollars. I guess they d o not want American patrons if they over charge. The management informed us that the only give 15 pesos per American dollar but... More

Wife and I tried this place from recommendation of a tour guide. The staff was very friendly and attentive. My wife had the stuffed shrimp and I had the oyster Rockefeller. The pico and salsa were awesome too. Highly recommend. Only drawback is manager tried to rope us in on time share visit,so beware.

We went there after going there many years ago and having fond memories of the place. We arrived about an 1/2 hour before sunset and it was beautiful. Our table was located in what appeared to be an enclosed patio looking out into the pacific. There was a mariachi there when we arrived but they were on break. However, we... More

Every time we visit Mazatlan we go to La Costa Marinera, at least once, sometimes multiple times. The service. The seafood. Both Great! Dining on the beach with great views of Deer and Bird Island. Time your arrival with the setting sun for an awesome dinner experience. While the seafood is very good, all the food on the menu is... More

A relaxing setting with great service from happy, friendly waiters and delicious seafood . It was great sitting outside eating, drinking and listening to the band play.... a very Mexican experience. We were taken here by Raul from Mazatlan Van Service and we were not disapointed. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Been 6 years or so since we visited La Costa Marinera. Our last visit had not been good and with so many places to eat in Mazatlan we just don't go back...But we were invited to a birthday dinner in February and were very pleasantly surprised with the meal. I had the seared tuna and it was fantastic...so much so... More

This is a fine choice for good food at a terrific beach location. The staff is very friendly and there are almost always a band or two on the beach and roaming thru the restaurant. The shrimp dishes are excellent. And you're sure to get one of those free drink coupons from someone on the street.
