This is a little spot which consistently serves the best chicken soup in Huatulco. We pick it up and take it home, to a friend's house or we eat there! Always superior! The owners are great and take pride in their food and their customer service! It is not fancy but has great appeal. Sit inside or on a bar... More

We were there tonight 23/04/2016 and it was great. Ordered the ribs and a dish with black beans, cheese and chicken stuffed in corn tortillas. Everything was awesome. Two beers and three gringos left 165.00 peso + tip lighter very very inexpensive. Good service and yummy home made Mexican food.

The place is small and simple but very nice and clean. If you're out for a truly Mexican food experience, this is it! You cannot leave town if you haven't tried Los Gallos' caldo tlalpeño. It's delicious!

The famous chicken soup is very good! The service is great. Go ahead and skip the mescal...not very good, but the beers are cold. BIG PROBLEM...the English and Spanish menu have different prices. Not a huge difference. For the soup on the English menu $60 pecos, on the Spanish menu $55 pecos. Not a lot of money, but I do... More

Previous review of this restaurant are correct, wonderful chicken soup served by wonderful people. Very small place, unassuming, appeared clean, we gave the stools by the street a try. We went twice and each time met fun people, each sharing stories of the food they had had here previously. Soup had a bit of chili in it, so if you... More

We never would have known about this place except for reading about it in Lonely Planet, and we were very glad we went. It was indeed street food, but very tasty and interesting, items we had not had before, and it all felt very safe and healthy for us to eat, no bad effects after our meal there at all.... More

This is definitely one of my favorite eateries in Huatulco. The cook is extremely accommodating and adds as many habanero peppers as I want in my chicken fajitas. Complimentary tostadas and salsas are served. No fancy decor but that's what gives the place it's charm. Check it out!

We happened by Los Gallos by accident the other night while looking for a place to eat, We noticed as we were walking by that there were a lot of Canadians sitting having soup. I asked a couple of the patrons how the food was and one of the women replied by telling me she has been going to this... More

Visited Los Gallos twice during our last visit. Had the famous Chicken soup both times, but others that I was with had different things and they all said they were delicious. Service is great, prices are extremely reasonable. The complimentary Mezcal served with orange wedges is awesome! Don't miss this Gem of a restaurant....go at least once while you are... More

Wonderful small restaurant , on a side street off the main square. Authentic Huatulcan cuisine, large servings, beautiful fresh ingredients, wish I had enough room to try everything! We will definitely go back and explore the rest of the menu.
