We were in heaven with the chef"s choice : a prefectly seared tuna steak served over a mango sauce. The ceviche appetizer and the calamari were very good as usual.

The food was quite bland and I was very disappointed with my 'surf and turf', the steak was not very hot unlike the rest of the dish.

Stayed in Acapulco for two weeks and the food here was the best by far. The staff are pleasant and the food and beverages are reasonable priced.

There is a very special starter - shrimp tacos, very creative and very delicious. The mushroom soup is wonderful as well. All the wine are in very... More

I never miss an opportunity to go to Carmenere. The restaurant is small, romantic, and awesome, as is everything there. I have never had a bad... More

This being our first visit to this restaurant I can thoroughly recommend it. The service, quality of choice, presentation, and friendliness of staff was excellent. The price was also very reasonable.

Definitely a must if you are in Acapulco. The food is incredible, the service excellent and prices very reasonnable. It is a very small restaurant so make sure you book a table, especially for dinner. We enjoy going there every time we visit Acapulco and strongly encourage you to try it if you are in town.
