The food is excellent, ethnic dishes, so fresh that you choose your fish, lobster, shrimps. The shrimp empanada is amazing, so tasty and a real Mexican dish. Beans sopes are truly amazing if you don't like hot salsa don't try the green one but a little drop is a must, be careful is very very hot but with a wonderful... More

Being from South Louisiana, we know seafood and love it just as much. My wife and I are also foodies, and we were quite impressed. We were supposed to have sunset dinner on the beach, but the Pacific Ocean had other plans, and flooded the big pavilion and beach dining areas; so we had to sit under the first pavilion... More

We ate here after a city tour - the food was a little pricey and pretty much all seafood, so if you dine here make sure that you like what comes from "del mar"!

This was one of the best meals I've ever had!! We were served right on the beach. They showed us the fresh catch of the day (literally fresh...mr red snappers eyes were staring at me). Of course we had to try them all so we got a sampling of everything! They served us snapper, lobster and prawns with rice and... More

Our concierge recommended this restaurant, and it was a treat. Lovely view of the ocean, particularly at sunset. The food was very nicely presented, served by nice, patient, helpful people (for us from the States who had lots of questions). A wonderful experience and a great value.

You can't go wrong by going here. the restaurant is much closer than all the others that serve the typical pescado a la talla while having the same prices and a nice view. There are other tasty appetizers which you shouldn't miss.

Roberto Alarcon took us to Esmirna for my husbands birthday dinner. They showed us the catch of the day and let us choose the fish we wanted and told us how it would be prepared. The shrimp were the best I have ever had. The fish were very fresh and tasty. No fishy taste at all. Eating right on the... More

This place was awesome! We were worried it would be "cheesy " but it so wasn't! Very romantic and amazingly fresh seafood, well prepared! You get your own cabana on the beach, they bring out a platter of fresh seafood for you to choose from...lobster, huge shrimp and a huge red snapper...all fresh caught locally! We chose a mixed seafood... More
