Four of us enjoyed breakfast at El Zorrito on 29 October, and my huevos rancheros were excellent. Several local people told us this restaurant was one of the most popular among Mexican tourists and local residents, and I saw that it was packed in the evenings when I walked past. (It is located near to the Mar Azul resort hotel.)... More

Our guide, Arturo, from Tours By Van suggested this restaurant for lunch. It was delicious. We had a combination plate which included a huge piece of very tender beef and an enchilada and rice and beans and also a side order of pozole which was SO good. Combine that with the cold beer, fresh salsa and guacamole and YUM!

We ordered drinks, and I was pleased with my bloody mary (although a higher amount of lime was used I found it was still delicious). Our table was stocked with chips, beans and salsa as our food was being prepared. I ordered the mexican combo meal of sorts.. stuffed peppers, enchilladas, and hard tacos. The meals were very large in... More

In acapulco its tradition to eat pozole on Thursday, and so I did. The rumors were this place had the proper and good pozole, and they sure didn't disappoint, along with a cold beer... It was a great experience. Along with our pozole we had tampiquina which was so so good. Beer selection was great, easy to find with a... More

Most of the time we visited this restaurant was in the late evening and you can tell they have great food from the amount of people eating there. Usually the owners son took care of us and every meal was just fantastic. Once you eat here, you will always come back and we guarantee that.

I have been going to this restaurant for years and I took two Americans with me and they LOVED the Chicken Tostadas (tostadas de pollo)..............great Mexican food. And for those Americans that don't eat Mexican food, they have hamburgers and French fries for you!

Visited their place years ago and it was very good. This time was during "high season" and was not up to my standards, service little slow and did not have an English menu.

This is as ordinary a dive as you can find. We visit Mexico a lot and my fiancee is Mexican, and this place just is not good enough to be in any discussion of where to eat. It is open air, but it has plastic chairs and no ambiance. The service is ok and the food is edible, but that... More

Usually when a cab driver recommends a place to tourists I am very cautious because they usually just recommend an expensive restaurant. We took his word because we asked for good local food. He said this place had great green pozole. Served with all the sides. What a disappointment! It had no flavor at all. Insipid would be a compliment.... More
