Food was pretty nice although chicken was bland. Staff were friendly and atmosphere was nice enough. Nothing amazing.

Open 24 hours! We had pork tacos. Excellent. Also, that big pitcher of what looks like chocolate milk is called"Chaka" and tastes like chia tea and rice milk. Amazing and surprisingly refreshing!

This restaurant is always humming on the weekends and it is in the middle of all the action! It is very colourful and has a lively atmosphere. The Pozole and Pastor dishes are plentiful and very good for a reasonable price. This restaurant has been here for many, many years and it is very popular with Mexican families and tourist's... The restaurant is o.k. but nothing to write home about. On our last day in Acapulco we wanted to try the famous Pozole of EL ZORRITO and left a bit disappointed. Sure, the service is excellent and the waiters do a good job. And the prices are also quite normal considering the touristy attraction of the place. But the food... More

I've been to El Zorrito quite a few times over the years and depending what you order it can be rather hit or miss. Today's lunch was a huge hit. My friends were in Acapulco for basically 5 full days and I wanted to squeeze as much in for them I could. One thing I consistently harp on was that... More

2016 the price is now 50 pesos, and still an excellent value. Still very generous with the meat and other toppings. Tortilla chips still included. Young guy who is a street musican is now allowed to plug in and play indoor music and he is an excellent singer. He was there last year also with a girl friend. This was... More

Local restaurant on the Costera. Been there many years. I think it is a little over priced for what you get.

Four of us enjoyed breakfast at El Zorrito on 29 October, and my huevos rancheros were excellent. Several local people told us this restaurant was one of the most popular among Mexican tourists and local residents, and I saw that it was packed in the evenings when I walked past. (It is located near to the Mar Azul resort hotel.)... More

Our guide, Arturo, from Tours By Van suggested this restaurant for lunch. It was delicious. We had a combination plate which included a huge piece of very tender beef and an enchilada and rice and beans and also a side order of pozole which was SO good. Combine that with the cold beer, fresh salsa and guacamole and YUM!
