from start to finish I loved the evening. Fantastic wine list, lots of options on the menu ( I enjoyed the crab cakes, and the Salmon) service was top notch. I as well felt very comfortable in the casual, elegant setting.

The restaurant location and design is the only thing that sets it apart. The food is average as is the service.

This restaurant has great atmosphere, nice services, but food is less than average. High prices and they even try to charged us more. It has nothing to do with the original Kookaburra that used to be in th Scenic Highway. The new owners just kept the name, but not the exceletn cusine they used to have.

This restaurant is located at La Isla mall in the Diamante Area.Menu is eclectic :Includes internatiional cuisine, some steaks, some mexican and italian dishes ,and nothing to do with an Australian restaurant as the place name suggest (kookaburra is a bird from Australia). While looking at the menu ,the waiter told us that some dishes of the menu were not available. So we... More

We went on business dinner (twice). The service is good - average, but we had very nice first course and the shrimps with mole de tamarindo were very good. The ambiance is very nice and the restaurant is well located.

The food was great but sparse. I had the Shrimps on Tamarind that were fantastic. Atmosphere was really nice and hip. Service was good and prices were fair.

The food is very mediocre and it's very expensive. The servings are also very small. The service was fine.

I lived in Acapulco for a year and often went to this restaurant which was near my house. View over Acapulco bay is stunning. Food was excellent and cooked to perfection. Relatively inexpensive for European and American pockets. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Come here if you like premium quality food at a premium. Don't expect big servings, but it's a great atmosphere amidst La Isla Mall (a very nice outdoor mall in Acapulco). I had the Robalo filet and it was excellent over white wine sauce with sliced carrots and zucchini and it was very tasty. My wife had the Camarones en... More
