We went for breakfast but arrived a bit late. Jenn had the famous dried meat and eggs with their renowned beans and loved the meal and especially the hand made tortillas. My banana creme pie covered in walnuts was INCREDIBLE! The perfect non breakfast....breakfast:)

This was recommended by my taxi driver. Food is great (had steak). The service was very good, but a bit rushed (steak was out minutes after salad). Definitely recommend the ribeye and carve asado!

This is a steakhouse that you wouldn't think about maybe for breakfast, but they serve a wonderful Desayuno. I ordered bacon and eggs with bean and tacos and the amount of food was huge. I didn't finish, but it was quite tasty. They of course have traditional Mexican breakfast dishes, fresh fruits and yogurts.

This place has always had the best hand made tortillas... This time the service was good, ribeye and arracheras was just OK. Queso flameado was very good as well as the refried beans with "veneno" (extra fat!). The best was the Trevinada dessert, a Queso Flameado with Glorias (a regional goat milk caramel, type of dulce de leche), with hot... More

This place is so great for the famous agujas from Monterrey, impossible to drive past it without eating here. My menu is already sett when I know that I have the chance to eat here. Queso fundido, agujas and their hot and tasty chile piquin sauce. The attention of the waiters is great, they are always at your service when... More

This place close to downtown Monterrey is a must if you love meet. The dishes are excellent but the best are the "Agujas", thin slices of meet with a piece of rib bone on them to give a special taste. Just superb. Ask also for the local chile piquing sauce.

I haven't been in el mirador for about 10 years , I found it as good as it was by then , try de Ajujas de Sirloin , guacamole , tablita de filete. All are very good at this Monterrey Steak House. Close to downtown , and very well connected to any where in Monterrey.

I have known this restaurant for many years and it has great food. We always ask for machacado (dried meat with eggs), beans with poison (pork with non-spicy sauce) and flamed cheese. Never miss the flour tortillas and the green chiles they serve on the side. I have been there for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The only issue to take... More

I've been traveling to Monterrey for over 20 years. El Mirador is always consistently excellent. One of my favorites. Centrally located to downtown or Garza Garcia. The steaks are excellent and the service is second to none. You cannot go wrong. Enjoy!
