I was watching a Gael García Bernal movie where mentioned Tacos Salseados as the best tacos in Tijuana, so I gave it a try. The place is not a fancy one but you can enjoy delicious tacos in there. They have not a parking place...so you have to park on the street. The tacos took that name because the steak is grilled with a spicy sauce (salsa in spanish). The Taco Salceado is served like the traditional taco de asada: tortilla, grilled steak, guacamole, onion and coriander. My favorite: the new york steak and shrimp quesataco. It was so good! The saumon quesataco is also delicious. They also have stuffed potatos, mulitas (2 tortillas cheesse and your choice of meat in between). I definitely will return! They only have soft drinks and do not accept credit/debit cards. Open daily from 12 to 11:30 pm.More

This place was my favorite taco shop in Mexico. Then Javier left. While the tacos are pretty good; when Javier was there they were the best. He would invent tacos right in front of you and have you try them. Some were great and found...there way to the menus and some were just good and they were dropped off. Service is not the same since he left; and prices definitely went up drastically since then. Still an ok place to go; if you want a specialty taco.More

Eventough they are not located in an accesible area for tourist, it is worth it to look for them! You have never taste this anywhere. If you are in the La Mesa area you must go!!

This is a very different kind of tacos, they do have the usual but the the "salsas" are really different, this is really something you have not seen in any other place.

Went with family almost at midnight and they were nice enough to serve us though it was almost closing. Great flavor and service.

These tacos are gourmet with out being in a fancy restaurant. All of the different kinds and the salsas are awesome. While in Tijuana, you've gotta try them. Be sure to have the address and how to get there. There are people watching the parked...cars, but just in case, don't leave any valuables insight. As stated, these are not ordinary "carne asada" tacos; these are much better.More

I'm not one prone to hyperbole - but these tacos knocked my socks off. The staff was incredibly friendly (patient with our rudimentary Spanish), providing fast service with terrific recommendations. The entire place was very authentic, filled with many locals and a Mexican futbol game...on the tele. The ambiance is no frills (fluorescent lighting, simple tables, open to the street, no alcohol), which allows the focus to rest on the real objective at this destination, as befitting the restaurant name: mouth watering tacos and a tasty array of salsa options. It was worth the short Uber ride from the border and central district, and definitely worth getting off the beaten path. And the price was the final delight: just a few bucks each for the entire dinner.More

Wonderful little place with a variety of tacos, mulitas, mocajetes. One of the best in Tijuana when you want something more than a great street taco (say, Tacos El Gordo). Definately worth the visit, great service, great prices and great food!

Hello; yes they are open from 12-11:30pm on Sunday. There is always a guy there watching the parked cars; just tell him to watch yours and at the End a $1 tip will be enough for him and your car will be safe. Try different... More
