The El Nido is a landmark in Rosarito. It's huge. Eat in the back patio area to get away from the street noise and for the tropical Mexican ambiance.

Environment is great! Ribeye steak was delicious. Potato was a little over baked but salad and appetizer Queso fundido with chorizo was great! Flour tortillas were also delicious.

This had always been our first stop in Rosarito for years. We loved the atmosphere, food and the value. The coffee, atmosphere and hand-made tortillas are still worth a trip, but the food portions have gotten smaller and the service has declined. Still, the menu offers dishes you won't find in other places such as quail eggs, cactus (nopales) and... More

I have been coming to this restaurant for many years and absolutely love it! The atmosphere is very unique and the food very delicious. They really cater to the customers and have staff that speak English. The home made flour tortillas are to die for and I always get a dozen to go. Additionally the prices are so good!

Went here twice and only tried the Mexican food... don't eat steak. Loved the tropical decor and the food was bangin as well as cheap. Service was fine. Got the vegetarian combination plate and tacos. Loved it

This restaurant it has a pretty good rank; but this is my experience: - I arrived with my family mid morning to have breakfast, waiting time 25 minutes. They passed us to the bar and I couldn't order chip and salsa because you can only consume drinks at the bar, makes no sense. - My breakfast was cold and the... More

Just stopped for a cold drink, but this place is a site to see! Tropical, antiques, hanging plants. Need to come back for a full meal.

This place used to be the talk of the town and now it has gone to the bottom. We went there because my fiance wanted a good steak and we usually go to Tepanyac..but we hadn't been here for a while. Bad choice.. The steak were like jerky.. So bad I couldn't eat it .. The potato looked like the... More

Food is ok, service too. Expensive but my dad likes the food, so i am forced to go there. But feels a little greedy that the owner or manager would encourage their staff to charge in dollars when someone does not expressively ask for the card to be charged in pesos. Then when you ask why this happened the staff... More

I come to Rosarito about three times a year, but I plan on buying down here one day. I have enjoyed El Nido for over thirty years, and they are simple the best. The interior gardens have waterfalls and plants everywhere. wood grilled, they have their own ranch for raising almost everything they serve. Yummm...! I can eat here three... More
