Breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had the most delicious chili rellenos with shrimp and cheese. Many other authentic Mexican dishes, too. We were lucky to find this place - only because most other restaurants didn't open for lunch until 1:30.
Our group of 8 (4 couples) returned to Los Mandiles repeatedly for the delicious fresh fruit bowl and the fruit drinks. The breakfasts were served promptly after ordering and the food was perfectly cooked. We enjoyed the divorced eggs and the salads. Others among us...loved the mole dishes. You can't go wrong here.
Carlos, our morning and afternoon waiter, was superb, anticipating our needs. Francisca, the evening waitress, was equally charming and efficient. Many ex-pats seem to eat at Los Mandiles. Very reasonable prices.More
Recommended to us but a couple who lives here 6 months of the year. Chips came with 3 sauces and we order guacamole which was a large amount in a stone pot. We should have stopped there but we had flank steak with salad and...the house special covered in mole sauce. Steak was tender and delicious and the other dish was great. Ended with fried plantains for desert. Total bill including a margarita and 2 beers was 655 pesos.More
Since we are visiting off season most restaurants don’t have many diners. We ate at Los Mandiles on a very quiet night but both of us agreed our dinner was the best, so far, of the trip. I had the chicken mole and it was...so delicious I wiped the plate clean with the handmade tortillas. Shredded chicken in a rich, slightly spicy mole sauce. Our drinks were large and spot on. We had fried plantains for dessert and thought the whole dinner was great. We plan to return.More
Part of our stay this year, we had first time guests visit to Loreto. Although they commented some of our preferred eating spots were a little more “rustic” than they expected, they shared our 👍👍 for LM. They insisted they get to experience breakfast, lunch,...and dinner at LM, and they did! Not only did they enjoy all the meals, they found the staff as accommodating and professional as in “less rustic” places they had visited! LOL! During our visit, we had French Toast (wife’s favorite) and Divorced eggs (my fav); several Main course Salads (yes, ok to eat); Enchilades with Green sauce, Fish tacos, and their Chicken soup ( a meal by itself!)- All great!
Oh yeah! If you sit in front, great people watching and view of the Bay!More
