Came across GD on a before dinner walk (about 5) and decided to give it a try. As soon as we sat down, the music was turned on or up. In Loreto, we are not used to being "bugged" to order drinks, even after saying we'd like to see a menu. We ordered, had a drink and were "bugged" frequently... More

This place is great fun, the bar is an actual boat and the food is authentic as well as an excellent value. For extra fun order a blended Margarita and take a picture of your friends useing pedal power to mix your drinks. . Greg P Denver CO

I pretty much always find myself at the Giggling Dolphin, falling off the stools at the Boat Bar. Don't ask silly questions - just go. The food is awesome, the people are awesome. Find yourself.

The margaritas are some of the best in town. The seafood, especially the chocolate clams are delicious, always!!The lovely cook has been there for a long time and she is good! Umbaldo is a friendly owner mixing the drinks!

We quickly stopped here for a light lunch before heading to the airport. We had the guacamole and quesadillas as well margarita/pina colada all of which were delicious. It was a fun atmosphere with the different license plates and we enjoyed watching another patron have one of the bicycle margaritas :)

A fun place to eat and drink with a very friendly and attentive staff. The decor is amusing and comfortable, and the boat bar is a kick. The real fun is in the handcrafted margaritas with fresh squeezed juices and quality tequila-the best we had in town. We arrived late and didn't eat but the kitchen is big and modern.... More

Wonderful menu, food, service, ambiance. Great place to relax and enjoy the food and atmosphere. Located a couple blocks off the main street of town and within walking distance of local hotels and the marina. Well worth the effort to sample a new place not on the local walking tree lined street.

We ended up finding this great little place after me and my husband met a couple awesome guys at a local bar. They had gone fishing and took the fish over and had it cooked by this very authentic Loreto restaurant. You can see the wife and daughter cook your food there is no "behind the scenes action." close to... More

Night I was there was slow, however Owner greeted me warmly, recommended a good meal (Lobster), mixed a mean Margarita, and made me feel right at home. Fair price for an excellent meal and hospitality. This is what great Mexican restaurants are about!
