At the end of a deserted difficult road is this wonderful dining experience. Expect to stay for hours and relax searching for shells, chilling with a wonderful Margarita and snacking on chips and a spicy jalapeno mixture. We have learned that dining in Mexico means a lot more than just eating and this restaurant exemplifies the whole atmosphere of the... More

The long drive down a dirt road is definitely worth the trip. Food was amazing and presentation flawless. Don't visit La Picazon if you are in a hurry. Service is friendly, relaxed, and unhurried.

Started with a complimentary appetizer tray of house made chips with garlic mayonnaise, pickled jalapeño,andpickled onions in red spicy sauce. Main courses were seared yellow fin tuna, pacific bay scallops, and shrimp quesadilla. All were fantastic! Finished with a flan shared by the three of us. Great service and atmosphere Had tuna slices for lunch the next day as the portion... More

The food was excellent, we all had catch of the day. The margaritas were the best we had in Loreto area. The owners and cooks were friendly and attentive. Go with the recommendations of the cook, we were favourably impressed.

"It has been about 4 years since my last trip to Loreto and on our previous 3 fishing trips the local hotel owner where we stayed had suggested La Picazon for lunch/ early dinner. They are off the grid so do not go out there after dark. The location is a bit hard to get to and the road was... More

Imelda y Alejandro, owners, make this dining experience exceptional. I have eaten there more than 15 times. It is palapa covered patio, great music, and comfortable sofas along with tables and chairs. Fresh seafood is delivered by fishing boat direct to the restaurant. Anything you order on the menu is perfectly prepared by Imelda. Alejandro is the host and serves... More

Had red snapper in garlic sauce. Delicious. Right on the beach overlooking Coronado island. Family run. Friendly.

We visited here in Nov. 2016. We arrived before the restaurant opened, yet were invited in to visit the beach and have a drink before opening. We enjoyed some margaritas and beer and then ordered some delicious lunches. Service was excellent...the owners so accomadating and friendly...and loved their dogs. Will definitely visit when we return in March.
