"It has been about 4 years since my last trip to Loreto and on our previous 3 fishing trips the local hotel owner where we stayed had suggested La Picazon for lunch/ early dinner. They are off the grid so do not go out there after dark. The location is a bit hard to get to and the road was... More

Imelda y Alejandro, owners, make this dining experience exceptional. I have eaten there more than 15 times. It is palapa covered patio, great music, and comfortable sofas along with tables and chairs. Fresh seafood is delivered by fishing boat direct to the restaurant. Anything you order on the menu is perfectly prepared by Imelda. Alejandro is the host and serves... More

Always a MUST when in Loreto!!!!!! The view is worth the 15 minute drive out of town. The owner is so nice. Food tasty.

Had red snapper in garlic sauce. Delicious. Right on the beach overlooking Coronado island. Family run. Friendly.

We visited here in Nov. 2016. We arrived before the restaurant opened, yet were invited in to visit the beach and have a drink before opening. We enjoyed some margaritas and beer and then ordered some delicious lunches. Service was excellent...the owners so accomadating and friendly...and loved their dogs. Will definitely visit when we return in March.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Loreto but also the hardest to find. We take our boat there but you can drive. It is located on the tip of a jetty, incredible view and gourmet food. Hard to describe this piece of paradise! Be sure to make sure it is open before you make the trip.

Hard to find the way and hard to get there as you'll need a high vehicle, but totally worth the trip. This is high end cuisine served at a wonderful spot overlooking the ocean (actually, a house) and the owners are the ones who cook and manage the restaurant. Had a very difficult time deciding on what to choose and... More

We went here for lunch after a morning of fishing and time on Coronado. One of our friends ordered the chocolate clams and everyone couldn't stop talking about them days later. My husband and I split the seafood in béchamel with rice and the garlic chicken. The seafood was excellent, the chicken was just okay, but I should have known... More

Two other couples and my husband and myself, rented a boat from a captain named Francisco. He is well known in town you can just ask around and someone will be able to tell you where he lives. He took us on a successful fishing trip and then to Coronado Island. Recommend you bring your own beer to Coronado; there... More

By all accounts this is a must do when in Loreto! Getting there sounds simple, but when you venture out on that gravel goat trail devoid of signs and directions, it is easy to question the wisdom of the advice given. But persevere, stay on the path, eventually you will arrive there! Or get hopelessly lost! Better signage would be... More
