Dulce Romero is absolutely the best place for cappuccinos in La Paz!! My wife and I spend 2 months in La Paz and tried as many coffee places as we could find , none compare to Dulce Romero. They have the best espresso for their...cappuccinos , they always come out at the right temperature and always great foam and presentation. Their almond croissants are absolutely heavenly , and if you want breakfast the Mexicano Benedict is amazing and always cooked to perfection meaning the eggs are always the correct softness and the pulled lamb is delicious. They also have an extensive bakery with many delicious desserts and assorted treats. We ended up going there so often that all the servers knew us and always remembered our standard order. Two cappuccinos and two almond croissants.More

Stumbled on this place. Perfect almond croissants and espressos. Will be back tomorrow. Will be back later today! Thanks also for the friendly, efficient service.

pros: Good food, and they brought it to the table in reasonble time, good prices too. Cons: They do not pay attention to the special requirements you make, they just bring the food to the table as it is (no complaints about the taste) also...if you do not call the waiter, they forget about you completely.More

My family and I went to Dulce Romero for breakfast while visiting La Paz and had a fantastic meal. The simple menu card doesn’t do justice to the varied, delicious and really well cooked dishes that are produced by the kitchen. The coffee is excellent,...the food is mouth-watering and the service is welcoming, friendly and swift. The sumptuous bakery inside is also worth a visit before leaving!More

As a baker myself I often seek out bakeries when I travel. Dulce Romero is so much more than just a bakery. Their baked goods are very well prepared and presented. They also offer breakfast, lunch and dinner which are all quite nice and well...done. The atmosphere is clean and chic. Their coffee is great as well. I highly recommend this place to anyone.More

This place started really well. The bread is amazing, no questions there. No one makes it better. Buuuuut the service is the worse I have experienced, every single time. The cashier has a bad attitude, takes forever to get a simple loaf of bread. They...are rude and never friendly. I used to order a brie sandwich and the last time they barely put any brie in it, it was a milimiter slice of cheese. I returned the sandwich to the waiter, who explained baffled that it was all the brie i would get....better call the sandwich something else! it was not cheap!...cause it aint no brie sandwich. Never again! Bummer, i used to like them but the service is so bad, i wont be back.More

Just the best baked good you can find in La Paz. Excellent breads, pastries and deserts for take-out or enhong on site, The resturant has a bot of everything with excellent European style sandwhiches, plates and salads. Service is hit and miss and the bakery...take out counter borders on rediculous in the time it takes to order and cash out. However, it is usually worth the wait!. Parking is always an issue.More

This little gem off the beaten path in La Paz was recommended by our hotel staff. They have a wonderful bakery with high-quality pastries and breads, and the restaurant offers excellent choices for both breakfast and lunch. High-quality ingredients, good service and a relaxed atmosphere.

Terrific little restaurant that is also a delicious bakery too! Loved all their healthy choices. Service was excellent and they have a menu in English too! We were too late for breakfast- stop serving at 1pm.
