I sadly don't go anymore as they changed their pet policy. Service is slow as I now have to sit outside with my small dog. Lots of other great pet friendly coffee places to visit in La Paz.

Not a great place for vegan. I requested a vegan version of the avocado toast. I got smashed avocado with NO seasoning spread on very dry toast overlaid with one small leaf of romain and one small yellow "cherry" tomato sliced in half. Paid full...price. Sad, sad, sad. I'll never go there again. I visit La Paz a few times per month.More

I know that sometimes you have a bad day but seriously everyone there was having a bad time? Terrible service, we waited for the waitress to take our order and then try to negotiate some ingredients because of allergies but shw was mad at every...request, and then after all the waiting for a really average food, I always take pictures of my food and since the placed was nice I thought their dishes were going to look nice too but no, and when we asked for some muffins and other things from the bakery, the bread was soggy and the taste was nothing out of the ordinary just overpriced. Definitely not going back they need to improve that service.More

Aside from the fact that the layout is convoluted, hindering a smooth flow of business, it's still worth the bother and wait time.

Stopped here for early dinner at 4. Even though they didn’t start serving their dinner menu until 5 they accommodated our request for pasta. Excellent food but as others mentioned they are smaller portions- plenty though to be full and not stuffed after the meal.

Every thing on the menu sounded delicious. I ordered the Bendedict eggs, and they were perfect, also my smoothie and the almond croissant. I loved it all.

Went for a late breakfast at 10.30 am. Fantastic Covid precautions in place. Ordered eggs Benedict mexicana and a regular Benedict. Excellent preparation and presentation. Fast service. Then went into the bakery and got sliced sourdough and baguette along with chocolate croissant other pastries. The...croissant, sourdough and baguette along with a empanada filled with jam and queso fresca were excellent. Their capuccino and fresh juice and latte were excellent as well.More

Our guide on our whale shark trip suggested a few places to eat but said this was his favorite place. We trusted his advice 100% and were gald we did. The bakery items were great to snack on while we waited for our food. The...portions were not huge, but very tasty. Glad we stopped here and hit the bakery section a second time on our way out.More

Dulce Romero is absolutely the best place for cappuccinos in La Paz!! My wife and I spend 2 months in La Paz and tried as many coffee places as we could find , none compare to Dulce Romero. They have the best espresso for their...cappuccinos , they always come out at the right temperature and always great foam and presentation. Their almond croissants are absolutely heavenly , and if you want breakfast the Mexicano Benedict is amazing and always cooked to perfection meaning the eggs are always the correct softness and the pulled lamb is delicious. They also have an extensive bakery with many delicious desserts and assorted treats. We ended up going there so often that all the servers knew us and always remembered our standard order. Two cappuccinos and two almond croissants.More

pros: Good food, and they brought it to the table in reasonble time, good prices too. Cons: They do not pay attention to the special requirements you make, they just bring the food to the table as it is (no complaints about the taste) also...if you do not call the waiter, they forget about you completely.More

My family and I went to Dulce Romero for breakfast while visiting La Paz and had a fantastic meal. The simple menu card doesn’t do justice to the varied, delicious and really well cooked dishes that are produced by the kitchen. The coffee is excellent,...the food is mouth-watering and the service is welcoming, friendly and swift. The sumptuous bakery inside is also worth a visit before leaving!More
