If you like seafood, this is the place to go in La Paz. Very good local restaurant. I had a lovely lunch. I had the Ensalada de Mariscos and Tostada de Pulpo. The restaurant is localy decorated inside. Delicious local food in a cozy atmosphere....Service is very efficient and friendly.More

I can’t understand why this place is so popular. We went on a not-too-crowded Saturday night and ordered oysters, grilled fish tacos, and the camarones 3 ways. Service was slow and they got the order wrong, so my wife’s order came out 20 minutes after...mine. The oysters weren’t fresh, the fish was over cooked, the tortillas were day old, and the shrimp were tough. There are so many better Mariscos places in this town, why would anyone eat here?More

Overall mediocre dining experience: felt rushed and like we were an inconvenience to our waiter. Appetizers were ok/decent, as were drinks, but didn't compensate for never feeling 'welcome', and don't think I ever saw the waiter smile or even appear to be friendly. Entrees were...average at best, with one being something that was not in any way described accurately on menu (bbq shrimp coming out with very sweet, sugary coconut sauce). Sorry - just hope to steer others away from a mediocre/borderline disappointing experience when so many fantastic options exist in San Jose/Cabo.More

We visited Mariscos el Toro Guero 4x on our trip it's THAT good. The seafood is incredibly fresh and the amount of food for price is great. For $35 USD we ordered an entire fried red snapper ("Pescado Frito", which comes with a healthy portion...of rice, mashed potatoes, salad and tortillas) + marlin empanadas (fresh, not fishy and the pastry was perfectly seasoned and fried. Also came with rice, potatoes, salad and tortillas) + coconut shrimp (again with all the sides) + we each got a complimentary cup of the most delicious seafood stock (like the broth from a cioppino or manhattan chowder) with tostadas/crackers + 2 tecates. We had leftovers for lunch the next day there was so much food. Service was quick and friendly. They take credit card and you can leave tip on the card or in cash, your choice. Best restaurant in La Paz!More

Went there for dinner. Ordered crab empanada and fish. The quantity of crab was amazing however it tasted like nothing and very very bland. Took it home and made crab fired rice out of the filling. Will not go there again. Sorry!

Wanted to enjoy some sea food before ending our trip. Couldn't have picked a better place. Recommended by a local and it did not disappoint. We had the Fiesta de Camarones (shrimp)platter. SO GOOD!! Great atmosphere and even live music while we were there. Pina...Colada was delicious!! Wish we would have hit this place up earlier in our week so we could have enjoyed trying more of the menu. A must if you visit La Paz.More

Food ok, but not pleasant atmosphere Way too noisy for conversation with friend. Band way louder than talented. Casual place for drinking lots of beer with buddies. Not for us

Food is very good, real fresh seafood, taste is good too, the only hiccup is service, they’re slow to service you and not very attentive, but is worth the wait because of the quality of food.
