24/7 Tacos!

This place has been a landmark in La Paz, way before I moved here 11 years a go, the fact that it can meet my mindnight munchies is great.. Breakfast is fair, great prices, daily lunch speciasl are great, and the arrachera "flank" steak tacos are a delight.

Great food anytime, tacos are yummy and margaritas aren't bad either! You can eat inside or outside.

There are two locations for Rancho Viejo. A smaller location located on the Malecon and a larger facility a short distance away and about a block from the marina. During the course of a ten day visit to la Paz, my wife and I had the opportunity to eat at both locations and were very pleased with both the quality... More

Loved this place--tried many other places in La Paz but kept coming back here. This picture of the complimentary chips and salsa says it all!!

We got tacos to go, so can't say much about the restaurant inside. It was packed with locals which we always take for a good sign. The tacos came with all the fixings, we ate them on the beach, and they were perfecto!

Aside form the fact that at Rancho Viejo 1 kg equals 635 grams, nothing against get rich schemes, they have had and continue to have a SEVERE hygiene issue. Most tequila soaked gringo turistas don;t seem to care, but serving plates stacked with food that was prepared roadside by very nonchalant hobby cooks, recycling previous customer's left-over onions onto new... We ate at this establishment several times during our stay in La Paz, and the food was excellent every time! Please know that they do not speak English much, but will do their best to communicate with you and offer you a great experience. My group loved the pork tacos, and each time I had a dish with shrimp it... More
