Grabbed a couple of curries for a mid week family catch up, had tandoori chicken, lamb korma & butter chicken with the fluffiest rice ever. All very delicious. Very friendly staff, clean restaurant. Recommend.
Tandoori times is the best quality Indian food around Melbourne. The staff are so beautiful and always welcome you with a smile. I’ve not had any Indian that compares to tandoori times. It’s been our go-to for the last 3 years!!
So delicious , such an amazing service. Lamb chaap, tandoori chicken, dessert and yummlicious lassi. I would rate this restaurant and its service as one of the best Indian restaurant of the west. Kids and adults all relished it. Keep it going.
This Indian noshery has an amazing menu covering the entire sub continent and then some, making decisions very hard
I had a hot lamb curry with a seven out of ten hot rating as I love hot spicy food . Seven proved to be a...bit too hot for me but it was very tasty . I should have been about 4 on the chilli scale really
The rest of our crew were chilli wimps and were very happy with their meals .
Lots of vegetarian options and the Indian ice cream was fabulous, I had the pistachio
Clean loos , friendly attentive staff and bright and airey surroundingsMore
Clearly Tandoori Times does not need flesh & blood diners as they are doing a roaring trade in Uber Eats & take away orders. Our food was delivered in between phone calls, with out implements, Tandoori was more charcoal than chicken & we were missing...one dish. The attention to us as diners was missing although the waitress was her normal sparkly self. Thanks Tandoori Times for the good times but we won't be back.More
An Indian restaurant well worth a visit, probably repeat visits!..I will definitely be back again, and again. Service was great from all staff. Food was served as if it had just come out of the oven and pot and spice wise, was just perfect! Great...wins on wine list too. all in all a great place to eat, compliments to the chef!More
We visited this restaurant after seeing how popular this restaurant was (people lining up).
Great staff who offered meal suggestions at our request. We're happy to try most meals, but knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff help make meal choices easy (for example hot, mild, flavours etc)....We enjoyed our meal. It was reasonably priced for the quality and quantity.
Will go back for sure.
I don't think you will be disappointed.More
Visited last night for Dinner for two. The food was tasty enough (one of us 'is' Indian), although don't look it as the very friendly, helpful and polite waitress clearly did not recognise as she explained all the dishes we enquired about as if we...were new to Indian food. The food servings on our opinion were on the small side, one of the dishes ordered, Punjab butter chicken, there was a lot of sauce for very little chicken ratio wise, it's chicken after all (as in somewhat inexpensive), so we expected more meat than what was served. The garlic Naan was also on the small side.
The prices are decent but you do expect bit more substance wise.
Std. serving in my opinion ok for a light meal/dinner, but if hungry order extra/big. Again Im familiar with the usual amount of food that is consumed at an Indian family and friends do, so this servings would really be entree to 'firsts' type of size.
Flavour wise, very acceptable, 'after effects' as expected for Indian...:)More
What a great meal and great service at Tandori Times in Yarraville. The food had such fantastic flavours, we loved it. The staff were very courteous. We noticed many but not all looked like Indians eating there, a sign the food is good and it...was. The fruit, nut, coconut Naan bread exceptional. We had rockling fish. We had a window seat for two before going to the Sun Theatre. A fantastic evening out.More
Quite busy on a midweek evening, a good sign
Really friendly welcome. Inviting menu with lots of inventive and less common selections
Lucknow lentil lamb was good, a dry beef curry hit the spot too and chilli paneer had a sweet and sour hit. Great...appetisers included pepper chicken tikka - delicious and veggie pakora - yummy
Good short wine list, $42 for a Yarra Pinot Grigio and all up a really nice local eatery!More
