We went here for the first time just to have something light as we had eaten at lunchtime and we had omelettes. The owner talked us into coming back the next night as he had "tandir lamb" which turned out to be a shoulder of lamb cooked for four hours. It was very good but we had no idea what... read more

The Falcon is tucked away on a street behind the waterfront, and we might not have found it had we not asked the English owner of a shop for a recommendation. We skipped the starter since we've learned while we've been here that starter plus main course is often took much for us. My wife had a lamb casserole that... More

Good food. The chicken casserole is really tasty. Friendly and helpful staff. Nothing is a bother to them. Value for money.

There are only two Pide restaurants in Selimiye (that we could find) so we took a chance on the Falcon, mainly because we feel it is usually a good sign when the majority of tables are full, and especially so when taken up by locals and Turkish visitors. The menu is totally in Turkish so a very helpful waiter who... More

Nice spot, not right at the beach but very close. We had "kıymalı pide" (pide with minced meat) and "kuşbaşılı kaşarlı pide" (pide with small meat pieces & cheese). Both were really tasty, but kuşbaşılı & kaşarlı was our favourite. The tables were in the shades of trees, so it was cool when it was boiling in Selimiye. I definitely... More

We had a table right in front of the bread oven and watched the man making the breads/pides before our eyes. The skill was incredible. The food was pretty good too! Try the Chicken shish, my husband had it 3 times on the trot! The owner is very accommodating as another couple wanted to watch the Lions Rugby match and... More

This restaurant is set back from the beach but what it lacks in terms of view or location is more than made up for by the standard of cuisine. The Falcon restaurant has a huge wood fired oven which they use to produce fabulous breads, Turkish pizzas and casserole dishes - in my view, by far the best in the... More
