We are frequent visitors to see Dursun and Nergis at Falcon Restaurant. It is a family run business and they are always very welcoming. The pides are cooked in the wood burning oven and made to order. They even let our younger visitors make their own if its not too busy. If you preorder they also do a delicious slow... More

The rooms were very clean, the breakfast was for champs, the owners were so welcoming and nice, and the price was just perfect. On top of that it is right in the center of selimiye, very easily accessible and not even noisy. Honestly I was very happy with my stay although it was just for one night.

My family and I enjoyed eating here on Friday evening, after popping in for a life-saving beer in the afternoon. Right from the off the evening took a slightly unusual turn, with the Maitre D' choosing both our starters and main course for us! Sometimes it is fun to hand over the responsibility for choosing to another, scary though! We... More

We ate here twice during our short break. The was good wholesome Turkish food. Hence the number of Turkish people eating there, always a good sign.

We went here for the first time just to have something light as we had eaten at lunchtime and we had omelettes. The owner talked us into coming back the next night as he had "tandir lamb" which turned out to be a shoulder of lamb cooked for four hours. It was very good but we had no idea what... More

The Falcon is tucked away on a street behind the waterfront, and we might not have found it had we not asked the English owner of a shop for a recommendation. We skipped the starter since we've learned while we've been here that starter plus main course is often took much for us. My wife had a lamb casserole that... More

Good food. The chicken casserole is really tasty. Friendly and helpful staff. Nothing is a bother to them. Value for money.

There are only two Pide restaurants in Selimiye (that we could find) so we took a chance on the Falcon, mainly because we feel it is usually a good sign when the majority of tables are full, and especially so when taken up by locals and Turkish visitors. The menu is totally in Turkish so a very helpful waiter who... More

Nice spot, not right at the beach but very close. We had "kıymalı pide" (pide with minced meat) and "kuşbaşılı kaşarlı pide" (pide with small meat pieces & cheese). Both were really tasty, but kuşbaşılı & kaşarlı was our favourite. The tables were in the shades of trees, so it was cool when it was boiling in Selimiye. I definitely... More
