About
Diver's Inn opened its doors as the first German Restaurant in Ao Nang, Krabi,in August 2000. Just a small place with 10 tables and 4 staff, the restaurant earned a reputation for quality Steaks, Thai and German Food at reasonable prices. In May 2006 we moved into a new building just a few steps away from McDonalds, directly opposite the Siam Commercial Bank. Customers can enjoy tasty and juicy steaks (Chilled vacuumed Australian Black Angus) as well as delicious Thai and European food, using only the finest and freshest ingredients that our restaurant has to offer. If you love meat other than beef you have a choice of duck, pork and chicken and for the non-meat eaters there are seafood and vegetarian options. All European meat dishes come with a salad buffet or a big side salad, potato side dish and sauces to choose from. We do gluten / lactose free food, just need to know if you as a customer are in need of it. Please note, we do not make reservations for tables at any time.

We ate here because it has such good reviews on Trip Advisor and went back a second time when we were recognised and given a free liqeur.
Nobody grabs you on the street but it's always well patronised, despite which the service is exceptional, fast and friemdly, the food is excellent and the prices, especially their specials, are so cheap I felt I guity paying the bill.
If you're browsing the main street, call in. you won't regret it.

Excellent gluten free food. Noticed this restaurant while walking past advertising gluten free lava cake. Had a total of 3 meals from here, eat in and takeaway. Staff knowledgeable about what is gluten free, they can pretty much adapt anything on the menu to suit a gluten free diet. Added bonus was gluten free beer!! Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful place! you walk down the Ao nang street, see the Diver's inn sign. Nothing special. You walk into it... Suddenly you find yourself in a European steakhouse. Excellent meat, fresh salad bar, great choice of dishes. the owner will come to your table and ask about your meal or give some instructions on the salad bar) . Great place. is it expensive? Not really. Is it worth your money? Absolutely

Overpriced and rude staff , I went in here because they advertise gluten free food, on looking at the menu we ordered our drink first, but going through the menu while having a drink I noticed the food was 3 times the price of anywhere else, also for gluten free I would have to pay more on top, so we decided not to eat but finish our drink and eat elsewhere. When the staff heard we were not going to eat we were told to take our drinks upstairs to finish them, so I said just get me the bill and we will go, when I paid the bill, it was obvious that they were not going to come back with the change, so I asked for my change after waiting a while and left. I would not recommend this place at all

The only items in our menu we are charging more than our normal prices are gluten free bread and gluten free Spaghetti as these items are imported. That is clearly mentioned in the information we provide when customers need gluten free food. You can´t even read a menu, can you?
A you did not ordered food the staff asked you in a friendly way to move to our roof terrace. We do not provide tables after 6 pm for drinks/desserts only in the dining area. We have a bar upstairs where you could have your drink.
Our staff would not come back with the change? Never heard about that in 20 years we are running the restaurant. You not need to wonder that your 10 Baht coin was not brought back as you said loud and clear "ok" when you put the money in the folder for payment. We do not need your pennies to get rich.
Last and least math was not your favorite class in school, I think you finished math lessons right away after nursery when I read your comment "I noticed the food was 3 times the price of anywhere else"
I suggest you change your name from "LitteGenius" into "LittleDimwit". That would perfectly match.

After being disappointed at another restaurant Carnivore, I decided to go back to my traditional place, diver’s Inn. Many people at the restaurant but we were served within 20 minutes and steak cooked to perfection as usual. * fried patatos weren’t freshly baked and were a big chewy... so may be can improve this again for the future. Will be back.

Thank you a lot for coming back to us for another steak dinner and thank you as well for your feedback.
I know the issue with the fried potatoes. It is sometimes not easy for us when we are very busy to make them fresh as it would take too long and sometimes not enough burners available as well. That´s the reason we keep them in the oven. I know it is not the best way but the only chance or we need to take them out of our menu in high season as a side dish option.
If you are back in the future just ask for me and I will take care about that in the kitchen.

We have been in Thailand several times before, and have always struggled with glutenfree food. Not much to choose between. But this restaurant is a different story. For the first time my husband could enjoy a glutenfree dish of PadThai. They can make all dishes glutenfree, and we will definately be back many times for the rest of our holiday. They even have glutenfree desserts and beer. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Big restaurant, very cozy and quiet. I took tenderloin and it was perfectly cooked, also salad-table was a positive suprise. We also shared a lava cake with my boyfriend. The cake was warm, melting choklad and fresh ice-cream on the side. They also had Hartwall original longdrink, which is rare in thailand, thank you so much for it.
I can recommend this place with my whole heart.

Ate here every night of our stay in Krabi and loved it.
What drew us in was the trip advisor reviews about gluten free food.
When travelling away from the UK, it is so exciting to see a Gluten Free Menu! You can choose from all Thai meals, pastas, garlic bread, salads etc. It even says on the menu to ask staff to call owners if for any reason you're unsure if your meal is allergen safe. So reassuring.
The owners and the staff were very welcoming and never once did I feel like a bother asking my allergy questions.
I ate a wide variety of Thai meals here and they were exquisite. I miss the food already!
Great frozen cocktails also!

We ate three times on this place. Every time, nice service, quick and smiley waitress, good atmosphere and at least good food. We tried Thai food, steaks - ordered medium and served medium, schnitzel and side orders. Just perfect. Can only recommend this place.

This was my 3rd visit to the restaurant. It is located around 400m from the beach and was about 50m from my hotel the Avasea Resort. On 3 occasions on this visit I walked past the restaurant with the view of eating but each time it was really busy. I then went for dinner early one night so I could definitely get in. I was greeted very warmly on arrival by the hots and shown to a table. I was given 2 huge menus one for drinks and one for food. The restaurant is owned by a Belgian Gentleman so the rage of Belgian and European beers is fantastic. The food menu offers a range of Thai and European foods. I ordered and the food came quickly and was very good quality, i had deep fried tempura prawns and a bacon and cheese burger, both were excellent. I could see others had ordered Thai dishes with equally looked great. The owner walks around the restaurant talking to guests which is a nice touch, he is very engaging and friendly. I recommend this restaurant if you want a good beer and a good choice of food. There is something for everyone here.

Really great restaurant with tasty food and exceptional service. Called in advance to let them know of my daughter's celliac issue (must have gluten free). They catered exceptionally well for her (they knew all about celliacs), as well as our own dietary requirements. The owner (Jurgen) and his wife were so proactive, and nothing seemed a problem. Their waitering staff were all very helpful. There was a lot of staff around and whenever you needed something, someone was there to speak to. The food was good, although the beef steak was average. We are spoilt for great quality beef back home in Australia. Highly recommended!!

No idea what was wrong with your steak as I did not get any feedback. We are using Australian Black Angus, grain fed, top quality beef from your country. But even with top quality beef things can go wrong as it is live stock and every cattle feeds, moves and grows different.

Sometimes you want to eat a good beef instead of thaifood. We ate here two times and the beef was very good with the read wine. The salad buffet downstairs is enough. They used bottled water to wash the salads.

We fancied a break from Thai food after being here a while so thought we’d give this ago after walking past. It was busy and there wasn’t any tables available yet but we were offered a comfortable seat upstairs and were served a drink whilst we waited. It was worth the short wait. The food was very good, high quality. The salad bar also very nice. If you like desserts you need to try the lava cake!! Amazing!! Slightly more expensive than we’ve been paying for Thai food but still cheaper than the same thing back home and worth the price too. The owner is very attentive and makes you feel welcome. Thank you!

When we passed the restaurant, we saw that they offered glutenfree food. When we sat dowon, someone explained to me about the gluten-free range. With every dish that I ordered, I received confirmation that it was gluten free. Very cool!
In addition, the food was excellent. Refined cuisine, high-quality ingredients, you can choose from European and Thai dishes.
For beer lovers there is a very extensive menu with a lot of Belgian beers.
We will come back!!!

As this is a special offer, we don't allow change of side.
This has nothing to do with an unfriendly waitress.
I listened the conversation and she just told you no change possible.
I been at your table to get a feedback and you did not mention anything about the sauce or your request to change the potatoes.
When asking if everything is OK, you said yes.
