Friends recommended this place and the four of us dined there last night. My wife and I were delighted and impressed by our experience and look forward to returning sometime soon. The menu, ambiance, and service were wonderful.
Small but very French restaurant located on Main Street in the LWR town center. We were seated quickly upon arriving and started with a nice french chardonnay. They have a nice selection of wines including many from France.
We chose the Chefs menu for $29...pp which includes an appetizer or soup/salad and an entree. For our started we ordered the country pate and french onion soup. The pate was very good (made in house) and served with a soft french bread. The french onion soup was excellent, one of the best we have had. For entrees we chose the pork parmesan and chicken provencal. The pork was very moist and tender, served with fresh prosciutto and a delicious parmesan sauce. The presentation was beautiful and the gratin dauphinois were fantastic. The chicken dish was just okay but in their defense they recommended we order something else.
We ordered a creme brûlée and St Marteen crepe (Banana, nutella and whipped cream) for dessert. We thought they were both average. The crepe itself was very good but the nutella was not melted at all and the bananas were completely raw. Service was excellent with water refilled several times and friendly conversation. We will definitely return to try some more menu items and wines.More
We occasionally dine here for lunch but this was the first time we tried it for dinner. It was wonderful. The food (French onion soup, filet with cognac sauce, lamb chops au gratin potato and the Jamaican crepe for dessert) was quintessential French and delicious....It was a busy night both inside and out but the service was terrific given how busy they were.
Like most restaurants today, the restaurant is struggling to find people to work. The staff that is working cannot continue to keep up the crazy pace. So please be patient when dining out today and be grateful that the staff that is there is working hard to provide the best service they can given today's environment.
Merci Beaucoup to everyone at Paris Bistrot! We will be back!More
We loved our crepes and eggs. Good latte too. Fun to eat outside. Only thing that kept it from a 5 star is they forgot my regular coffee until I was almost done, and the service to pay the bill was slow.
We love this place. Casual, outdoor, friendly and great cuisine. If you're looking for a 24 oz steak, mashed & veggies, this isn't the place, but if quality ingredients, delicious sauces and creative dishes are what you enjoy, this certainly is the place. Great rendition...of a true French bistro. Excellent !More
My Family and I have been coming here for a Decade now!
We've since made the most amazing memories, made lifelong friends and-most importantly- had the most astounding French ethnic food here during our time living in the States (originally from England) since 2011!
