Thank you for supporting us with your deliveries of excellent food also during the lockdown.
We will be happy to return to enjoy the ambience, excellent service and freshly cooked Italian meals starting next week!
We had a celebratory grand meal for six delivered to home , and a pizza supper to
follow through. That required a wide range of appetizers... and Sale excel at their
general and changing list of tantalizing and good-basic appetizers. ..there is enough choice for...those with aversion still to have fun picking. A risotto which has
just the right balance of texture, juiciness without clinging and flavour is a distinction of good italian craftsmanship ...tick ! Everytime there is slow cooked meats ..grab it.. the flavours are superb, strong, yet refined.More
I had a wonderful dining experience in this place. All of the italian food were awesome. I tried their special beef brisket stew and cold cuts. They were so tasty. I will surely visit this place again.
After eating a small, overpriced pizza at a neighbouring restaurant, we realized, regretfully, that we should have chosen Sale. With a full menu of Italian dishes, a bustling atmosphere, and good service, the place impressed us. The layout is a bit weird as there seem...to be two separate sections -- a main dining room and a gelato shop -- with staff running back and forth, past outside tables, delivering dishes from the main kitchen. We ended up having cappuccinos and dessert, both of which were good, and determining to try a full meal at Sale very soon.More
This place definitely has its own gem and character. Lately their dish become more sophisticated. If you come here just for pasta, you will find it just nice or good. Try to broaden your palate and taste bud here with their seasonal special menu. I...find their dish sometime quite complex and the flavor is subtle and balance. Maybe too light for typical local Indonesian (you know "eat pasta with hot sauce or ketchup") but for those have good taste bud, will find it very satisfying. The Ossobuco is one of a kind in Jakarta. The key for this establishment is their integrity for the dish with best value to price. Thanks for Andre and Miguele.More
Several people recommended this as the best Italian restaurant in Jakarta, so our expectations were high. The food is not bad, but nothing special, quite average. Tried Arancini (lacked flavor), Mushroom Raviolli (OK), Ossobuco (could have been better seasoned, but not bad, the risotto was...inedible though) and ice cream (delicious). the decor is OK and staff attentive. If you are in the neighborhood and craving decent italian, might give it a shot, but would not go there as a planned event. There is an ice cream shop next to the restaurant which seems to be under same management and their ice cream is really worth a try.More
