When we visited this pub it was packed to the rafters with folk watching the rugby. Excellent atmosphere and a good range of beers to try. We did not try the meals but the ones I saw been served looked pretty good to be honest....More

We have just enjoyed a most delicious steak and ale pie here. It was very reasonably priced. Cosy local pub with a real fire and good atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it!

Very pleasent Alnwick ale sat in front of a proper fire . Craster kipper pate followed by haddock. Friendly pub and an enjoyabe Sunday lunch -good value for £20.

if you ask they will alter the menu for you ,eaten here many times and always enjoyed it without any problems

Personally I would not have thought so but if you find there are no tables, the pub round the corner up the road is fantastic.
