One of the best locations imaginable for just a coffee or even a full slap up meal. Friendly staff. Ate here twice on a recent trip, the second time with a friend and when we finished it was low tide and an otter appeared from the end of the pier and walked out across the mud and sand and into... Good food fair price considering you are on an island miles from mainland large filling portions make for good overall value. Visited twice would go again. Thanks

Given the ingredients in the shop next door, we were surprised that the menu was quite traditional. Not that that is problem only an observation. With the cottage pie there were an amazing variety of vegetables, and if you want good honest food this the place to go. Also looks like it does a good trade in breakfasts before the... More

A cosy and friendly restaurant with a wide range of food so it was difficult to choose. The desserts were great too. The wines, beers, ciders and juices stocked are particularly good and modestly priced. Local fish and meat etc is used as much as possible. (Do shop in The Ethical Food store next door as it has very reasonable... More

One of the nicest meals we've had in a long while! We were recommended to the cafe by Paula at the B&B we were staying at - she also recommended the Creamy Garlic Mushrooms as a starter so we took her suggestion and were glad we had - delicious! When our main courses arrived we were also glad that we'd... More

OK, I admit there are only 2 places to eat on the whole island, so there isn't much choice, but this is a really friendly place with good value food, nice wine and a good selection of bottled beers.

The café, which is collocated with one of two small stores in Arinagour, has an extensive menu of excellent food for reasonable prices. The service was attentive and personal. The interior decoration is charming. Oh, and I recommend the bottles of Somerset hard cider.

After discovering this place last September we sailed over specially to eat here again and recommended it to a newly-arrived couple on another boat. We were not disappointed. After spending a long time deciding which of the delicious main courses to have we both settled on the local lamb. Beautifully cooked, seasoning perfect, tender slices. As before, about 7 different... More

We ate here once and had a lovely meal, reminiscent of home cooking - my husband had the banana fritters which were brilliant!
