Best food we had at the beach!!

This was by far the best food we had at the beach while on Spring Break in the Cape. We didn’t know what to expect from the cash only, unorthodox ordering system where you mark your choices on the order form, do the math, and then make change while they make your food, but everything was amazing! The grouper sandwich was so good along with the Mango Mahi tacos and the BBQ dream tacos. The shrimp in the shrimp and grits was really good. The only thing that would make that dish better would be to have cheddar or some other cheese in the grits. Definitely recommend this place over some of the others in town!

Food was great! Mahi mahi tacos were spicy and good. Bbq nachos and sandwiches were very meaty. You order with a paper menu that you check what you want on it and then pick up food at counter. Drinks are all bottled. Very chill place.

Best Fish Tacos ... ANYWHERE!

So, we met the owner in Port St Joe and he told us about his place; mentioned "the best fish tacos you've ever had". Happened to be out on the cape and ready for a bite. Oh, my gosh! This is a do not miss destination for absolutely delicious food. The BBQ is great and yes, the Mahi tacos are the best we've ever eaten!

We ate lunch here three times!

It was that good, and we would have eaten there more except he was closed for a couple of days during our stay. On our first visit, I went with the grouper sandwich and my wife had the mango mahi tacos. To say they were both outstanding would be an understatement. Were were filling, seasoned well, and a delight for someone craving good seafood. On my next visit, I went with a double cheeseburger while my wife repeated the mango mahi tacos. The tacos were again delicious, while my burger was sizeable, delicious, and simple (it included only sauteed onions along with two lightly seasoned patties and melted cheese). On the third visit, we split a loaded nachos that was absolutely terrific. It was loaded with melted cheese, Peachy's mouth-watering barbecue pork, and some diced veggies (peppers, onions, olives) and sauce. If you are on the Cape during lunch time, you now know where to go. I promise, you'll be glad you did.

Best shrimp tacos ever!

Stopped here for lunch one day. A few of us had the shrimp tacos - a tiny bit spicy but an amazing burst of flavors and so fresh. We also had the grouper sandwich and nachos. Not a huge menu, but that is just fine because what they did have, they have perfected. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Love how you make your own change and fill out your own order ticket. Hope to get back here again someday.

Peachy's Beach Eats was great, we had the shrimp tacos, BBq sandwich, loaded nachos and all were delicious. Its a cash only, self service place. They have beer and wine. Easy stop for lunch.

Better than in town

Easy food without leaving the Cape. Mostly better than in town. A bit confusing on first visit. Fill out the menu card exactly. Have cash and make your own honest change. Leave a tip. Shrimp tacos were packed with shrimp, crunchy pickled slaw, slightly spicy sauce, and avocado cream. Mahi tuna tacos just as good. Can eat in it to go. Even have some cans of local beers and Copa wine cups.

We love this place!!

We love this place!! The shrimp tacos and fish tacos are out of this world. The grouper sandwich is great as are the shrimp and grits. Steve, the owner, has a unique ordering system which he developed when he operated a food truck, but it really works well. Anytime we are at the Cape Peachy’s is going to be on our itinerary more than once.

Grouper Sandwich!!

As mentioned in other reviews, the Grouper Sandwich is so good and is definitely a must try. It was messy, but so good. My wife enjoyed the fish tacos. It's a strange set up, but basically you go in and grab a paper menu, check off what you want and turn it in. They give the total, they only take cash, so you pay and then make your own change. They also only have bottled or canned drinks for $2 which isn't bad. Overall, the food was good and price was decent. We would definitely come back next trip.

Delicious Food

Peachys Beach Eats has delicious food, great service and the perfect beach setting. The shrimp tacos and grouper sandwich were both delicious. The service was fast! The fun building and walk up order counter gives a great beachy vibe.

OK food for lunch

Stopped in for lunch and found the meal OK. Didn't really feel welcomed like you expect from a small place in a quiet area. The cash ordering system was unique. Pulled Pork tacos were OK, but nothing special. Tortilla chips were bulk, stale and boring. Not bad, but nothing to right home about.

The Cape is a place to escape, but when you want a great lunch, that is packs well for the beach, this place Is the bomb! Love the Ahi-Mahi soft tacos! Hubby loves the bbq. The burgers are great. We haven't had anything that wasn't good. This place is consistent. Things to know : Open till 3:pm daily. Cash only! Yes they serve cold bottle beers. Dine in or out. No fuss, no fancy. But it is something you don't want to miss. ... The Cape escape from cooking, starts here :))) Peachy on the beachy. No bitchin’, ’cause you ain’t in the kitchen :) Enjoy!

Get the best grouper sandwich ever!

Very casual and forthright. We stopped on a whim while passing by. Simply the BEST grouper sandwich ! Highly recommended!!! The mango mahi tacos were positively delicious. Both our meals were oversized- we were quite pleased. If you are more into great food than beachside ambience, you won’t be disappointed.

Nice Friendly Cape San Blas eatery!

We had been planning to eat there for sometime but finally made it! We ordered the grouper Sandwich/ with Nachos and an order of shrimp & grits. Both were very good. The grouper sandwich was large with a nice piece of fresh grouper. Jim liked it! The staff was very nice and attentive although they were working away on several orders asked us twice if everything was ok. We felt comfortable and right at home there.

Loved the Shrimp Tacos

I personally loved this restaurant. It’s a quick bite, grab a fast lunch kind of place. I got the shrimp tacos and it was just what I had been wanting to eat. My husband wasn’t as crazy about it though. He thought it was just a little pricey but to me it was worth it. They have a system going on to make things fast. Our food was done very quickly. I came in with my bathing suit. Very casual kind of place. I would eat here again.
