I had been following Coneheads for over a year on FB and could not wait to eat there once we got to the Cape. On a Saturday night, my husband and myself went to early dinner and they were out of just about everything except their special!! Asked our server what the dinner special consisted of and every question we asked she had to run behind the bar and ask a woman. This went back and forth 5-6 times. We finally just got up and left because we felt very like our business was not wanted.

Not a ton of choices on the Cape. Walked over from Barrier Dunes twice for their oysters and bay scallops. Had them baked, raw, and fried! The key lime pie was delicious, and Grace was very friendly, attentive, and she took great care of us, even though they were short staffed!

I love following these folks on social media and we couldn't wait to return here after several years. Because this is one of the few spots to eat on the Cape it is usually busy and crowded. This visit was similar. We ate on a Thursday night before the busiest season. There is limited seating inside. Our food was average quality. Some of the food was cold and the sides provided were not what we ordered for some of the meals. We had a group of seven and our food arrived over a thirty minute span so some of our group was done before others got their food. The first food arrived 45 minutes after we ordered. I think we would have enjoyed dinner more had we have driven to town. Our server apologized but blamed the delay on the kitchen. I love the concept, but they try to do too much with too little staff. I hope this was just an off night.

We ordered take out from Cone Heads on our first night on the Cape with an order of crab legs, the fried seafood platter, and a grilled scallop basket. Everything came as ordered and was delicious! The hushpuppies and coleslaw were surprisingly good and added to the overall meal. I would recommend!

This restaurant takes FORVER! They claim they are “take out” only and then you can dine in and clean up after yourself. There was no AC inside and outside there is no shade in the evening. It took 35 min in line to get to order and once there the guy told us the wait for food was 55 min. The fish was over cooked and over priced. All but one of the staff members was actually friendly. They also do not allow service animals. AT ALL! I’d think twice before spending money here which is unfortunate as there aren’t many options at all on the cape.

After several hours visit to the nearby beach, my wife and I were starving and found this nearby place using our map app. Few people were there, so expectedly our food came out quickly. I had a fried oysters basket with fries, hush puppies, and coleslaw; she had the fried shrimp basket with similar sides but exchanged her fries for gumbo and an extra charge. Everything was fantastic. Food was hot. Batter was light with a slight spice. Shrimp tasted really fresh. Maybe the best fried oysters I’ve eaten. Fries were seasoned slightly and great. Slaw was good. Hush puppies also had a slight spice and were very good. Gumbo was hearty, not thin. And these were served with house made tartar sauce and cocktail sauces which were both very good. More food than we could eat. And when we left they gave us soda refills in to go cups. Overall, a really good experience. We’ll be back.

Wow! We were so pleasantly surprised by our food here. Everyone loved the meals - shrimp po boy, shizzle shrimp, coconut shrimp, jalapeño burger, bay scallops Florentine, key lime pie, ice cream. Can’t wait to go back! They were taking excellent Covid precautions and felt very safe eating here.

Use to be a good place to go with good food and service. Now you order food at the bar, wait 45-60 for food to go. If you want to eat there you grab a table and clean up after yourself. They also charge a 10% service charge to all orders. The restroom has no soap but some wipes in a package as you leave. We saw 4 people complain about their order being wrong while we waited. There are other places that are better to go. I recommend Peachey’s.

Get there early or you'll be waiting a minute. Also, know before you go, you pick the menus up at the door and seat yourself. Once you decide what you want to eat, you go to the counter and order it. They will bring your food to you once it's done. When you leave, make sure you clean your table and put all trash where it goes. Good was quick and very good. Everybody was happy with what they got. I got the surf n turf burger and it was amazing with their sauce. The place is a little pricey but to be expected in this area I suppose. This is definitely worth a visit if you are in the are and looking for food or ice cream. They have a ton to choose from.

We were so happy to find this little gem at the end of the Cape. The burgers were amazing, and the baked oysters were soooo good. We were able to sit outside on their outdoor patio and eat which was nice since we rode our bikes there. They provided bug spray and had citronella lanterns on the tables which was really nice because the mosquitos were really terrible. They also had a Thermocell that we used and we didn’t have any trouble with the mosquitos after we moved it to our table. I would definitely pack your own just in case!!! It is around a little bend so don’t be fooled by the sign that says state park entrance. We almost turned around because we thought it might not have been there anymore. I’m so glad we didn’t!!!

Only the upstairs is open due to Covid restrictions. We walked up the stairs but were told that if we wanted takeout we would have to walk back downstairs to place our order by phone. We did so and were told our order would take an hour. I had the scallop basket and my wife had the oyster basket. Though utensils were supposed to be included, they were not. Food was okay, but worth the hassle. There is limited dine in available and perhaps that offers more timely service.

We ordered takeout from here while on vacation in Cape San Blas. Food was good but a very long wait to get it (45 minutes). The wait would be fine if someone would pick up the phone, but instead, we had to drive in the place the order and then wait. We ordered the Surf and Turf burger, Aloha burger, Scallops, and Scallop PO Boy. Everything was good except the Aloha burger which was not very flavorful.

Ordered and maybe 10 minute wait for our food. Giant portions, fresh seafood and cold oysters on the half shell. Folks were friendly and kind. These bad reviews I don’t understand. You aren’t eating at McDonald’s on the interstate.

We ordered the stuffed grouper. It was not good at all. The stuffing was overwhelming and hid the flavor of the grouper, and.....they put gravy over the stuffing. Also, the green beans were way over cooked. I would recommend the salad with shrimp. They could not mess that up. Not a great experience for a $32 entree.
