First off; the wine is overpriced, and as far as I can tell we paid £38 for a £10 bottle of Malbec. I've heard of a mark up but this was a fountain pens worth... when a single small glass costs more than the entire bottle then I start to ask questions. I also feel bad because there wasn't an... My introduction to what you might call 'fine' cooking came in Fife back in 1980 when I ate at David Wilson's Peat Inn. Even now I can remember my first taste of raspberry coulis - blimey that was something new back then, I can tell you. I'd been brought up on roast beef, Yorkshire pud followed by apple pie and... Went for lunch and were greeted by friendly staff. Each course was tasty and well presented . The ambience and views from the restaurant are outstanding! Primarily a sea food/fish restaurant but has some meat options too. Book in advance !

If ever there was a place that thought of itself being hugely better than it really was this is it. People will go there so they can tell their friends they went to an expensive restaurant last night but oh dear. I'll just give one example of the food. My starter was one average size scallop and that was £10,... More

Thanks for your in depth review of my restaurant your scallop was not a starter it was an intermediate course meant to be eaten between the starter and main course (it was also served with a smoked cod risotto so not just a scallop) Not sure where you got £10 price from as we have a set price for 3... Booked this with an itison voucher but would have happily paid full price for the fantastic experience. Certainly one of the best meals I have had in a long time. Hot plates, homemade beautiful bread, stunning views, great service. Would certainly go back soon. Set menu for 2 courses for lunch is £22.

An excellent proprietor operated restaurant set to the west end of the picturesque St Monans harbour, the converted pub retains some original features in the bar area where the excellent selection of gins set the tone for the evening. What the menu superficially lacks in variety is more than compensated for in the sheer excellence of the food on offer.... More

Had lunch here and was very impressed with the quality and portion size. Had three course and all were tasty and well presented. Beats a lot of Edinburgh so called fine dining restaurants.

Visited this restaurant for the first time with itison voucher for lunch £19 for 2 for 2 courses, cannot recommend highly enough ! Saved over £25. Lovely setting, 2 small rolls as pre starter gratuit, select from normal menu. Glass house wine and soda bit pricy at £7.Staff helpful and friendly not overbearing. Advised another voucher coming up soon, over... More
