My family missed the ferry back to Anacortes, so we had no choice but to wait for the next one. We decided to have dinner at Octavia's. What a very pleasant surprise! The view over the harbor is beautiful. The food was nutritious and tasty. We enjoyed the grilled salmon, risotto, and turkey sandwich ordered from the cafe next door... More

Four of us went here for a weekday dinner. We had reservations, which got us a view table, but was otherwise not necessary. Prime rib special very good. Salmon not. Ribs good. Service very good.

We went to Octavia's in the Orcas Hotel for their Wednesday night special prime rib dinner. The dinner was good value at $26 and was well prepared. At 6:30 pm we were the only customers--one couple left as we arrived and three more came as we were finishing. Needless to say, we had attentive service--Pam was great. The view was... More

Overpriced overcooked and underwhelmed. Heard good things but we were very disappointed. The view was nice but the atmosphere was dark and dingy.

Nice restaurant with a great view. We reserved a table with a view and got to watch ferries coming and going. Wife had the shrimp with quinoa which was tasty. I ordered the "Beef of Tenderloin", basically a filet, that came with sides of broccolini and some of the best mac & cheese I've ever tasted. The filet however came... More

The Bistro reference in the name us a bit of a misnomer. This us mire like fine dining. Everything we had was heavenly!!!! Calamari appetizer, ribs and grilled chicken. Even the Brussels sprouts were awesome!!! It's is in a hotel built in 1904 that is so charming!!! Great place to go!

We were two couples staying in the hotel and had dinner here on our first night. It was delightful! Two of us had the huge, juicy Beef Tenderloins, cooked just as we had requested them, and two of us had the Baby Back Ribs. Our selections came with a choice of two side dishes, which is always a nice touch.... More

If you have read any of my reviews, my wife likes her steak well done. We admit that this is not the way most places like to prepare beef, but .. the customer is always right! LOL Anyway, we both ordered the prime rib. I asked for medium well (knowing it would probably be medium which is what I like)... More

What a fun place to eat, and a quietly beautiful place to sit for a while with a glass of wine and relax. The food is good. Very good. The service is good and the entire experience is very "Orcas". If you are expecting a Seattle upper class restaurant, this is not it,but if you want a true historical island... More

We dined here whilst staying at the Orcas Hotel. The food choice was a little limited, and when it came out it had strange flavours. We didn't enjoy the meal, although the view and ambiance was amazing. Not recommended.
