We ate here twice while holidaying in the area for New Year. We were really impressed by the genuinely warm welcome we received, and the home-cooked food is delicious: our toddler was a huge fan of the macaroni cheese! With a local like this, Coldingham's...More

Visited on New Year's Eve for a family meal. A good mix of old pub staples and some daily specials on offer. Loved the Chicken stuffed with haggis and wrapped in bacon with a whisky sauce. Had the crayfish cocktail to start (which could have...More

Visited when managed by the previous owner - before 2015. The seafood food was excellent, and we enjoyed a bleather thereafter sitting next to the fireplace in the bar area. This was just one of our visits, and more will follow when coming home to...More

Popped in on the off chance that we might get a good meal. Not disappointed. Missed out the special both nights we visited but enjoyed the standards. Steak pie, highland chicken were good. Good beer.

Yes. We took our British bulldog. If you give them a call they’ll book you into the dog friendly room. Would recommend this place if you’re travelling with your dog. At mealtime your dog can stay in your room/your car.
