Pompano Joe's opened its doors in 1995 and quickly became known for their unique Caribbean style of seafood. Since then, it has become a destination restaurant for tourists and a favorite among the locals. The Caribbean flair shines through from our famous Reggae Rolls and Garlic Crusted Grouper to the brightly colored window frames that line the walls of our open-air restaurant. In 2013, we opened the second Pompano Joe's location at Pier Park in Panama City Beach, FL. When visiting Destin, South Walton or Panama City Beach, we hope you stop in and enjoy the great food, refreshing drinks and the best view on the Gulf Coast.

Perfect atmosphere for a casual dinner with beach views. We were here on a Friday at dinner time and the wait was long but we expected that. It was nice to be able to orders drinks at one of the outside bars and sit and...enjoy the views while waiting for a table. The service was fantastic. Food came out fast and hot. The drinks were tasty and The grouper Guadalupe was delicious! I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the Miramar Beach area!More
Rats running a muck
I always love coming to this restaurant. But this visit was very disappointing While we were dining I noticed a large rat running around the tables! It was sickening! I will never dine there again! We also told our waiter that...the steps were a strip hazard but nothing was done.More
This is a fun, family friendly spot on the beach! We cycled down Scenic 98 and enjoyed a casual and yummy lunch at PJ’s on the beach. The vibe is casual with wonderful views. I had the strawberry fields salad with grilled tuna and enjoyed...every bite! A great place for couples or families… come as you are!More
The best!! We went during happy hour! We got the nachos from the $8 appetizers menu and they were so good! We got half a dozen raw oysters and half a dozen cooked! Both were very good. The best raw oysters we’ve had this trip!...We shared the grilled crab legs for our entree, It was sooooo good. Best crab legs we’ve had! It’s a little far for us to drive otherwise we would’ve definitely eaten there again!More
The food was good fare just like most of the seafood places near the beach. The service was really good. Today was a 45 true minutes wait to get a table. They texted me and we finally got seated. The food was delivered reasonably soon...and it was tasty. I tried the grouper Reuben and it was a nice change from the typical. I liked this place and return often. Not disappointed at all. Kudos to our server Ashley. Super personality!More
Busy restaurant on the beach. Food was good but pricey. Our nacho appetizer cost $19 on its own but was enough to feed 4 adults. I had the jerk chicken and it was good. The staff was friendly-ish. At first, our waitress seemed to rush...us to order foods but in the end she was better. Parking is a joke - the restaurant is located at a public beach access site so anyone and everyone parks there due to beach access. We are around 2p on a Wednesday and had to wait 30 min for a table. Not horrible but I’ll bet dinner wait it much longer.More
Great atmosphere. Right on the beach. Worth the wait & waiting can be right on the beach or their beach bar. Our food was absolutely delicious. The gumbo tasted like it came straight from the Bayou. Everything exceeded our expectations including our server Daniel who...went above & beyond for a great experience.More
