We have stayed and eaten here many times over the past 10 years and each time the experience is perfect. Although this is listed in Tripadvisor as a restaurant, there are 4 bedrooms and a cottage as well. Jill has an extensive garden and her produce and flowers appear in the dining room, along with excellent local venison, lamb, beef... More

We were booked elsewhere but for various reasons were changed to here. We arrived on a Sunday when they don't normally do evening meals but Jill kindly gave us some of what they were eating. Delicious. Very comfortable and great breakfasts.

Had a last evening meal here to close the holiday. What a good choice. Chef said she never looks on Tripadvisor. Maybe she should. Really delicious menu. They even let my niece try a haggis taster for the first time. But Boss the cat got some of it! He knows which side his bread is buttered. Good choice of meats... More

We experienced two lovely meals at the Ardshealach Lodge. The presentation of the food and the taste was excellent. Jill takes a pride in her creations which are reasonably priced.

We had eaten here on a previous visit to the area and knew we wanted to return to stay - we weren't disappointed! Jill goes out of her way to make your stay as pleasant as possible, the food is first class and the rooms immaculate. We enjoyed a magnificent sunset following our delicious dinner in the comfortable conservatory. A... More

After having 4 nights Glamping decided to splurge out on our last night and couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Ardshealach Lodge was beautiful and so peaceful I wishes we could have stayed longer. Our host Jill was amazing and her dinner and breakfast were both delicious. Our bedroom was lovely and the biggest bed ever slept in.... More

We were staying up the road at Mingarry so the Ardshealach Lodge Restaurant seemed like a convenient place for an evening meal one night. After our first visit we went back a couple of days later. The Lodge is on the banks of Loch Shiel with magnificent views north over the loch. Gill, the owner and chef, produces delicious meals... More

Ardshealach lodge needs a new name. I have a suggestion. Utopia. The views are delightful and the service excellent. The concept of taking your order whilst sat in the wonderful conservatory or lovely gardens whilst enjoying the scenery is an ideal one. Food was delicious and presented very well. Service was great, staff couldn't have been more helpful. The waiter... More
