Great local pub in beautiful village. Great staff, dog friendly and delicious homemade food. Honestly, the home made pie ‘special’ was one of the best ever. Puff pastry top, shortcrust pastry base and a rich beef, Stilton and ale filling. We’ll be back!
Called in last minute for Sunday lunch and the food was very nice at a good price. The service was great a few drinks in the sunshine always helps. Just be a bit wary in the carpark - it is small and quite tight
This pub is one of our all time favourites.
We have never had a bad meal here and our visit for Sunday lunch this week did not disappoint.
The pork Sunday lunch was excellent.
A must visit pub for the area.
We had lunch at this friendly Sheepscombe pub on Saturday.
We booked a table as our little pug was with us.
The staff were both courteous and friendly;
The food was plentiful and of good quality;
Well kept and and nice wine 🍷
We popped into the Butchers Arms after walking in the area.
The team were very welcoming and sat us at a nice table in the window, which was ideal for us and a tired little dog.
It was very busy and great plates of food...More
