We thought this place would be good since the signs advertise "only cruise recommended restaurant", which we determined the government must not regulate advertisements because this had to be false advertising. We first noticed our water glasses had black residue on the outside and there were debris that appeared to be shrimp shells in our water as well. I wanted... More

Beware of the people trying to get you to the timeshare presentations in Port Lucaya Marketplace but plenty of restaurants and shopping. We chose The After Deck for the local fare conch-anything. I chose conch chowder and my husband had cracked conch. Just OMG! Portion sizes are big and the food is delicious.

Food was good, nothing special. Reasonable priced, hubby said grouper was excellent. The Bahama Blue drink is delicious and deceiving! I drink long island iced teas and this devil of a drink knocked me to the floor. Get it shaken not frozen and only 1!

Had I looked thru TA before arriving, we prolly wouldn't have dined here. That said, we didn't have any trouble. The cracked conch and conch burger were good. Nothing else really stood out on the menu. Service was friendly and the bill wasn't outrageous. Facility is run down. I assume cruise line recommendations keep this joint in business.

I only ate here once and loved the lobster gyro. I only gave it three starts because there was a limited drink menu which seemed strange for the location. There service was also, just okay, compared to other restaurants I'd visited in this vicinity.

Title says it all! Not recommended! Bland food, very pricey and slow in delivery. When the party of ten next table over walked out I should have done the same. Live and learn.

Our tour stopped here for shopping and eating, I had a lobster Gyro, it was fantastic. Service slow, i was going eat outside, but the birds were everywhere. There was a little stick shock when got the bill, 22 buck for my gyro, but it was really good.

The biggest let down was that the food is VERY overpriced! We got the jerk chicken, which was delicious, and a gyro that was average. We did like the man who was all dressed up in his Bahamian feather outfit.

We came here because our bus driver suggested it but would have ended up there anyhow. The service is friendly but rather clumsy and inattentive. Perhaps the local style. Mostly relaxed. The gratuity is already on the bill so the service is not super hard working (18% gratuity on the bill). We had a jerk chicken and a conch salad.... More

Alright Carnival cruisers or Bahamian vacationers. If you go to the Grand Lucayan Resort, Across the street is a cute little restaurant named The After Deck. This place has one of the best Jerk Chicken plates. It's a bit pricey but soo worth it. I've had Jerk in both Jamaica and Cayman and this beats both. The service was good,... More
