Banana Bay sits right on the beautiful beach. The view is outstanding and so it the food. There is plenty of outdoor seating looking out at the beach.
We ate Mahi tacos and cranberry turkey wrap. Both were excellent.

We hired a taxi to bring us from Pelican Bay hotel the Lucaya area to Banana Bay. Cost was $60 return trip for family of 4 and our driver waited for us the 3 hours we were there!
This place was really good as it’s...a lunch place but also comes with a great day at the beach! If you plan to head out there go so after 1 pm as the tide goes out and you can walk quite a distance on the sand bar!
Lunch:
We had frozen Miami vice cocktails they were delish!
Ordered the chicken and cheese quesadillas, wings and fries and cheeseburger fries!
And the famous banana bread! All super yummy!
The vibe here is what it’s all about though! The rent chairs for $4.00 each and you can find a place under the palm trees for shade. Very cool and relaxed with the best views and being able to watch the tide Ho out was very cool! Lots of seashells to collect abd beach sand was like powder!
Definetly a great way to spend the afternoon👍🏻
Friendly service! 10/10More

Loved all of the food there. Loved being able to rent beach chairs for a fair price, loved the beach, our young children loved seeing sting rays, and enjoying the sandbar at low tide.

We took a private driver from Cruise Port and when it was lunch time, he took us here. Lovely little restaurant, with big terrace and right on the beach, with amazing views to the sea. Friendly service, tasty crab cakes, cold beer and great daiquiris!...Overall perfect spot to spend couple of hoursMore

Nice location, with several seating areas, inside, and out. Right on the beach, lots of parking, and good food.
Service was good, and so was the food. Not too far out of town, just a 10 minute drive.

We visited Banana Bay Restaurant while on a cruise ship excursion over Thanksgiving week 2022. It's a super cute restaurant with a large ocean front deck with lots of seating. The views are breathtaking! We got to pick any table we wanted and then a...server brought out a bottle of water and their conch burger with a side of fries (included as part of our excursion). YUM! It was delicious!
Once we finished eating, we stepped off the dining deck and walked right onto the beautiful beach. The waves were very small and the water was shallow (about 2 to 2.5 feet deep) for 100+ feet. It's the perfect beach for little ones! The water is crystal clear and my son even found the most beautiful conch shell! If you're into collecting seashells, there are many beautiful small shells on the shore as well. Chairs are available to rent for $4.
The next time we visit Freeport, I'm thinking of simply getting a taxi to take us straight to Banana Bay Restaurant and spend the day there. It definitely left a lasting impression on us!More

When you think about the Caribbean, with the varied colors of the water, you could well be imagining this beach. We had salads -- tuna (on lettuce) and curried chicken. The curried chicken salad was the best I've ever had and possibly my favorite meal...in Freeport! The food was fresh and the servers were able to help us eat gluten free.More

Great beachside restaurant - food was delicious and the views and setting are amazing. Our party of eight enjoyed a variety of items for lunch - especially the wahoo. Clean and comfortable.

My mom and I visited Banana Bay around Thanksgiving 2022. The nice man at the car rental place told us to try it out. The food was delicious. The service was wonderful. The view was to die for. You can park and walk on the...beach in this little piece of heaven.
They also have a few chairs for rent if you would like to sit on the beach longer.More

Beautiful beach and great food. We got crab cakes and peas-n-rice. Both were very good. It was a wonderful place to spend a few hours of our day! Feels like a piece of paradise. The atmosphere is laid back and easy. Waiters are nice and...not in a hurry, so just take your time and relax in the awesome place!More

This is one of the best beaches in the island. It was introduced to us as the beach locals go on the weekends. It is surprising very quiet, but breathtaking!
