This restaurant gives you the real Bahamian feeling walking in. Big patio with wonderful view onto the beach and the colourful ocean - you can just sit there and relax while having a good meal. Went there for a quick lunch, had the coconut shrimps...with fries which were good. Service is good and friendly, but not overly. Owner has an Italian restaurant in Lucaya which is currently closed due to Covid, so instead every Friday they have a special menu (changes every Friday) with italian specialities. Live music, not overpowering, in the back. We had the Lobster Bisque and the Mussles as appetizers, both very good, the bisque even excellent. As entrees we had the Penne on a Tomatoe Vodka sauce and the grilled Red Snapper, also both really good. Deserts were excellent, Bailys Creme Brulee and a homemade Tiramisu. This is the place to be on a Friday, locals and tourists flock here and give it a great athmosphere.More

On April 8th 2021 A friend and I went to this place. Our waiter was not it, (maybe because we were locals ig). we sat ourselves down and waited for her. She served a “famous” local family before us and did not even ask if...we were ok. I order a conch burger and that thing was made from conch fritters batter! The pina colada didn’t taste how i expected with those mushy paper cups they could’ve atleast served drinks in glass. Not to mention my silverware had a lot of wear and tear, should probably get new ones. I don’t recommend honestlyMore

Cappuccinos is one of our favorite restaurants but due to Covid and the small size of the indoor seating, it cannot re-open at this time. We discovered that Banana Bay (same owners) prepares a mini Cappuccino menu on Fridays. The menu was a cut-down version...of Cappuccinos from Port Lucaya and the menu is changed every Friday. That’s the only night they are open to serve Cappuccino food. Husband enjoyed his generous portion of lobster lobster soup for $9.95 and the veal marsala for $25.95. I had grilled mahi-mahi with vegetables and potatoes. $23.95. In my opinion the best dish was the Bailey’s Creme Brulé! ($9.95) As to the service - it was the fastest that we’ve had on the island so far and soaked up incredibly gorgeous beach view as we sat outside. We were disappointed that Italian food was not on the menu this night but we will be back and pray for things to become normal so Cappuccinos can operate with their extensive menu in Port Lucaya.More
