Carmine's is a solid place for a very nice Italian meal. The food is classic, tasty and plentiful. Expect to have leftovers for lunch the next day! It would be good if they told you they provide a bread assortment before you decide to order...the garlic bread... but it is what it is.More

Make a reservation, heard it can be a 2 hour wait. That being said, i must give a shout out to this restaurant for holding our reservation when we ran into some trouble and were a 1/2 hour delayed getting there. So thank you! However,...once we arrived our server was a bit abrupt with us and answered our questions so fast it was like she wasn’t even listening to the questions. That immediately set the tone for a not so pleasant meal there in our opinion. It felt like we were bothering her (samantha was our server). Bread and oil is brought to the table, we ordered the spaghetti and meatballs (for 2 people its too much food) you get 6 meatballs, and we ordered the carmine salad which was so good with the chunks of meats and cheeses mixed in along with a creamy italian dressing. We have never dined in any of the locations but the Atlantis restaurant was just beautiful inside and i was told the food tastes as authentic As the original NYC location. If you like italian food this is the place to go in Atlantis. I have to add my husband always adds more tip (15% is already added to your bill) but this time he did not. I would have given 5 stars if our server was nicer to us.More

We arrived and there were no regular tables available, so we were seated at the bar high tables. The table was tiny, and since the servings are so large this made it difficult, but, our great waitress was able to consistently be clearing the table,...while bringing the food out very fast. Carmines is a must have if you are in Atlantis.More

Great food and some of the best service in all of Atlantis! We had the seafood pasta and a salad with some nice house red wine. The quality was great and two of us could not even finish half of it.

We ate here twice in the week we stayed at Atlantis. Great service, large family style portions and the meatballs were amazing! Make a reservation! Popular place and I see why.

Our first visit to Carmine's was terrific. Andrea our waitress was friendly and helpful - probably one of the nicest that we encountered during our vacation. The food was good and was decent value for the money, relative to other options at Atlantis. We also...enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant which was vibrant without being loud or overcrowded. We enjoyed our evening so much so that as a family we decided that we should return on our last night. Unfortunately our second visit was a completely different experience. The staff we encountered were disengaged and dismissive from the moment we walked in the front door. The hostess who seated us wagged her finger to follow her and pointed to the table we should sit at without a word. We were rushed by our waitress to place our order, being asked if we were ready several times within 5 minutes of being seated. Food was dropped on the table without a word or eye contact and there were many attempts to clear our plates when we were barely part way through each course. If we didn't politely push back and say we weren't done we would have been out of the restaurant in less than 45 minutes from being seated (for a multi course meal). In both meals our reservations were later in the evening where most of the crowds had passed, so they weren't needing to flip the table for the next guests, nor was it closing time where they might be eager to get us out. It was just a general apathy in the second visit that was a stark contrast from the first. Based on the inconsistencies in our experiences it's hard to recommend Carmine's without some hesitation. On a positive note, it's a kid friendly restaurant with lots of menu options that appeal to adults too.More

The bread was delicious. The Meatballs are really good! Portions are huge and when you include the portions with the price it’s probably one of the most cheaper options on the resort. Make reservations!

First off - yes the portions are massive and there is small warning on the menu that states portions are family sized and server will help you order BUT our server never mentioned this nor did I see the small warning. As a result we...ordered enough food to feed 3-4 people easily for my date and I. Not a problem except the bill was needlessly large, not to mention the waste involved. Quality of the food was average which was a surprise give the 4* reviews, but I guess I am used to a different level of restaurant. Service was super fast though.More

Haven’t been to the NYC one. This one is pricey, but was on our meal plan.

Be sure to get reservations DAYS or even WEEKS in advance. If so, there is plenty of space
