When my husband and I arrived at Social House last evening (with a written confirmation number sent to me by Open Table)! the Restaurant was closed. There was an employee in front of the entrance, with take out service, who explained to me, that Social...House has been closed for weeks!!!!! This is very bad work ethics! To accept reservations, when closed...... Without another reservation at three other Restaurants that we tried after the disappointing experience, (all were fully booked), we ended up back home, to “celebrate” our wedding anniversary......really unacceptable!More

On April 29th, 2020 me and my mother had experienced the worst customer service ever. As we checked our food to ensure our order was right we noticed that they had put both me and her rolls in the same container. This worried her because...I am lactose intolerant and in the rolls she had ordered they use a dairy product. My mother came out of the car to ask the gentleman who was dealing with the take out orders if he can please ask the manager if they would make my order over due to the worry of cross contamination. The supposed “manager/in-house physician” Demetri/Demetrius of the establishment approached my mother in the rudest manner as if he had came to fight her. As my mother explained the situation to him, he decided to say that no they will not make my rolls over because they are not touching hers and that them being in a box together will not cause cross contamination. As he proceeded to argue with my mother he had taken the container of rolls inside and had sent 2 separate containers back to us outside. As we drove away he had continued to argue. Upon arrival home as I sat down to eat we had noticed that the rolls were just thrown inside of the container without care. I decided to take some allergy medicine after eating them just in case. However, this did not work because I am now experiencing an allergic reaction. Should I come to see you Dr. Demetri/Demetrius?More

Will never ever patronize this business again. Demetri/Demetrius does not know how to treat customers or maybe if I was white his behavior would have been different. D9 not patronize your business go to another restaurant that values their customers no matter what color they...are.More

Been a while since my first review of this restaurant shortly after it opened but now many years later it had just grown and grown in awesomeness and is now one of my most favourite places to eat. Their brownie tempura and ice cream dessert...is probably the best dessert I ever ate in my life. Definitely a place to check out if you haven’t already!More

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. After being told I would be able to eat my take out meal at the bar I was then told that I can’t because I’m not paying for GRATUITY. I decided to order two glasses of wine PLUS another extra meal...so that I can enjoy my lunch without any problems. The cashier said it will be okay and then returned to say we won’t be able to eat our food there even though we placed an order and got two glasses of wine. We then told her to cancel the order within literally 2 seconds of us making it. She went to the kitchen came back and said okay it was cancelled. After she walked away a next gentleman came with the order that she confirmed was canceled. I then asked to speak the the manager/owner Mr. Dimitrios who only made the situation worst. He proceeded to raise his voice at me which at this point I asked him to lower because this is a situation that a MANAGER should try to diffuse in every way possible. He then told me it wasn’t my fault I canceled last minute and I still have to pay which made no sense after your EMPLOYEE said it was canceled. Mr. Dimitrios then yucked the waiter Cheque book away pushed pass me stomp on my feet looks down at it and never once apologized for anything. He proceeded to take his anger out on the employees which is not how a business should be run. I feel as though this place is very racist maybe if I was white I would’ve been treated differently and the charge would’ve been removed or maybe I could’ve sat at the EMPTY BAR AND EAT IN THE EMPTY RESTAURANT. Everyone in there lacks communication skills. Mr. Dimitrios attitude is deplorable and he will definitely run your business to the ground.More

We went to this restaurant twice during our visit to Nassau. Service is very good, waiters are attentive without being intrusive. Food is excellent. Wines are good but expensive but you can find a reasonably priced gem on the list. Ambience is good but expect...small babies if you eat too early! I would definitely eat there again.More

We were staying at the Baha Mar one mile away from the Social House. After quickly tiring of the mediocre high-priced dining choices at the hotel, we found the Social House a pleasant diversion. The food and service were quite good and the prices were...reasonable. In particular we enjoyed the avocado lemon roll and sesame salmon roll and the brussel sprouts appetizer.More

We drove 30 minutes to social house for a family night out. My son was just from school, so he was very hungry and the 1st restaurant we stopped at menu had drastically changed, So we took the drive to Social house based on their...4 star reviews. We arrived 5:30pm and was told they opened at 6pm and to take our son to the bar across the street inth meantime. We opted and went to Starbucks. My son was nagging so we arrived back at 6:05pm where the hostess Felicia stood and never acknowledged us. We had only saw her 1/2 hr earlier. About 6:07pm , I then knocked and said what time do you open? She hesitated before even opening the door and said, were running late so we're not opened yet! It was very chilly outside and my son was very nagging at this point so I asked if we could sit at a table until they were ready and she said no. I said I want to speak to manager. By this time, about 4 other customers were also waiting including 3 tourist who were complainimg. She then turned the sign to open without even telling us and acknowledged the tourist with the baby that were after us, then turned to my husband and said, do u have a reservation. We were so turned off we almost drove back home. But sat down anyway. They waiter understood our frustration very quickly and took good care of us. We call for the manager at the end of the meal and instead of listen to the customer spending $200, he defended the great Felicia!!! Very sad, won't be going back there... Customers have a choice where they spend their money!!!More
