This is a really nice restaurant to visit if you are a trendy foodsetter type. The owner, Freddy, is from the Netherlands, but specializes in Asian cuisine fused with western-based elements. One of the must-try ddishes they serve is the Bahamian Conch chowder with Thai spices. Coconut curry conch chowder I think its called. The bar is obviously made to... More

I had visited this restaurant as part of the True Bahamian food tour and loved the bread and curried conch chowder on a prior trip. Called to make a reservation for dinner this trip and they informed me they would be closed from Feb 16 into early March. I made a reservation for Feb 13th - a Saturday night. Should... More

We went because they had schnitzel which we love. It was okay - a bit overcooked and dry. The service was pleasant but chaotic. After the main course, they brought plates and cutlery and promised us our desert was one the way. That was interesting as we hand't ordered desert. When we finally did order desert, they only had one... More

The snapper was perfect. The manager was gracious, the waitress, whose name is Pepsi, was warmly welcoming, quick to answer questions and efficient in serving, and the chef came out so we could tell him what a great lunch we had just had. What more can one ask for than perfect Nassau weather and a great experience at a really... More

We went here on a Tru Bahaman food tour 2 years ago and went back on our latest cruise. The conch chowder is amazing. It has a nice zing to it and you really get the taste of the conch. We also tried to braised lamb fettuccini in a red pepper cream sauce. It was also excellent. The only draw... More

Went there for dinner on a Saturday night. The restaurant was empty. The good thing about that was we got served real quick, lol. The food wasnt bad and it wasnt expensive. But being the only persons in the restaurant was very awkward.

We came here for dinner after getting a recommendation from Tru Bahamian Foods guides. Chef Frank was a wonderful host, checking with us to prepare the dishes on the menu exactly to our liking. He was able to come sit with us and tell stories of his life as we ate. And served us Ernest Hemingway's signature drink. The evening... More

Over the last 40 years I have been around the world, dined at many canteens, bars and restaurants of every stripe and star, including five star ones in Amsterdam....This one was special! The chef greeted us at the door, walked us through the menu, made excellent suggestions and was witty. The service was exemplary and the food was amazing the... More

This is where the locals go for lunch. I highly recommend the salads and they have a wonderful list of beers. Stop here when you're downtown shopping. It's laid back and a good place to unwind.
