The BEST place to enjoy your coffee. They really care about their coffee and you can taste the difference, plus you sip while looking at aqua waters. Cant beat that.

A fabulous cafe with most all hot and cold coffee options as well as delicious baked goods. We didn’t eat any meals but they look amazing! Lots of veg and vegan options. The smoothie bowls look amazing! Staff are super sweet.

I LOVE love love Louis and Steens! As a NOLA girl, I love coming by when I am missing Louisiana. I think they have THE best coffee on the island. You can look at the bright blue ocean with your rich coffee drinks.

The food is good and the setting is good, right across the street from the ocean. Food and View, great combination. We missed out on a smoothing bowl since the kitchen closes an hour before closing time, but the cinnamon roll was excellent. I would...go back next time we are on the island and I would highly recommend!More

Beautiful panoramic view of the ocean from a large lounge area, good pastries (sausage roll is delicious), and well crafted coffee drinks. I enjoy good quality coffee and I can say they take it seriously here with single origin pour overs, macchiatos, lattes with foam...art. Whatever your drink of choice, they know how to make it and make it well.More

If you've ever wanted to experience complete and total tranquility, L&S is the place for you. The coffee shop is a small, petite building just large enough to order and wait. There is plenty of outdoor seating for you to enjoy the absolute stunning ocean...waters. Each visit I ordered differently to try different flavors; unique blends that we don't see here in the U.S.: coconut matcha and then a French vanilla lavender latte. I'm no coffee connoisseur but I know when I've had an incredible cup of coffee - and at L&S - I experienced that. The coffee was slightly bold, and you got that at first. Once past that, the matcha came thru and then a subtle coconut flavor finished it off. It was incredible. The French vanilla lavendar latte was masterfully crafted. The semi sweetness from the French vanilla was short lived, and the freshness of the lavendar was well balanced. The sweet potato pancakes were very good. It's a different flavor and texture than a traditional pancake, and had plenty flavor and taste of a sweet potato. The sausage was an excellent addition to the pancake. It had a traditional sausage flavor with a very, very small hit of spice. All that coupled with a fresh sliced apple, and bam - a unique blend of complimented flavors and spiced. I'm no vegan by any stretch of the definition, but I had to try the vegan carrot cake cupcake. Oh my goodness. Moist. Dense. Fluffy. Sweet - but not overly sweet. The next visit was blackened egg with bacon PO BOY. I wasn't sure what to expect for a blackened egg...but it was next to incredible. The egg was fluffy and whipped. The cheese was distributed evenly across the PO BOY so that each bite had eggs and cheese. The bacon. Thick. Long strips. A lot of it. Ever bite had it too. The sauce was sweet and tangy with a quick hit of heat. The blackened chicken wrap was best ever. Crispy yet moist. Had a nice char taste that was complimented by fresh vegetables and ingredients. The wrap had plenty of chicken. Louis & Steens is a first class coffee shop and restaurant. There is not one thing you'll dismiss about L&S.More

We were within jogging distance so popped over a few times for take out. Highly recommend: bourbon chicken wrap, pain au chocolat, spinach feta croissant and we were lucky enough to get cranberry white chocolate scones still warm from the oven --fabulous! Expensive but worth...it.More

This is my favorite place to have a coffee alone or with friends. The coffee is smooth, just how I like it (It remembers me the coffee of my home place). The pastries are amazing, I love the raisin danish. They always have a seasonal...pancakes for breakfast and many other things: po’boys, salads, wraps. And finally, the view...More

We visited this cute little spot twice during our 4 day visit. If we had know about them earlier it would have been a 4 out of 4 visit. Excellent pastries, smoothie bowls, fresh squeezed oh, beignets are the best. Tuna wrap has a surprise...kick yummy. Loved the po-boy breakfast sandwich it was half eaten when I remembered to take a picture. Blackened egg as, bacon and some mo stuff, the po-boy is a must try. Enjoy the views and stay a while for the beautiful people.More
