My cousin and I went to Oh Andros and had the best beans and rice at the Fish Fry along with the spicy fish. Mmmmmmmm gooood! The sweet malbec added to the flavor of the meal as well. Not only did the food tickle our tongues, but we had enough for another meal and all for a nominal price. Andros... More

very aggressive hostesses line the street of the fish fry trying to get you to patronize their restaurant. Choices are confusing but we went with Andros as they seemed the least pushiest and had high ratings on tripadvisor. We only tried the conch fritter and fries which was quite spicy but people we ordering large platters of whole fried fish... More

Great food but always crowded. Taxi drivers seem to recommend this restaurant above many of the others that are available at the fish fry (>20). Long wait but if quantity is your desire this is the place. Every plate is full to the rim. Don't get me wrong the food is tasty. Good food at a good price.

I spend a lot of time in Nassau, so it's like a second home. The food is the BOMB! The energy is always live and fun. You can enjoy your meal and mingle with the locals (they won't bite unless you let them, lol). The entire area is usually filled with tourist and locals, depending on the day (ports). I... More

HUGE portions....simply HUGE! On top of that it's a small quaint type of place but with very good flavored food. We had conch ceviche, cracked lobster, cracked conch with some sides and basically we had enough food to stuff our bellys 3 times each. It's a must visit

We arrived in Nassau by ship and went here after a fantastic 4 hour tour with Joe from Bahamas Cruise Excursions: Nassau Private Island Tour, As others have mentioned, the servings are huge and fortunately we shared one plate with two people. Our dining companions shared a plate and left some behind! Can't wait to go back (it's scheduled!). There... More

Awesome Seafood. Shrimp in tomato based gravy (Not sure what was it called on the menu), was the best. They give a lot of food for cheap price. We stayed at atlantis, and you can get a share taxi from Atlantis to Fish fry. Must try as what you get in Atlantis is plain, boring and also pricy. About the... More

I stayed on Cable Beach, and took the bus to Andros The Fish Fry because it was highly recommended by both tourists and local residents of Bahamas. It was very inexpensive and they gave you so much food! I'm still trying to figure out their recipe for the rice and peas. And what did they season the fried fish with?... More

We were staying on Paradise Island, but everyone kept telling us to go to Andros for Fish Fry. So we did, and we tasted conch salad (didn't know until the cabbie told us on the way back the conch was raw in a nice salsa salad), and the best fried shrimp I have had in a long time! The snapper... More

Recommended by our hotel conceirge. After paying $$$$ for dinner on Paradise Island, this place was soooo good. Authentic bahamian food, fish was amazing and portions were huge. Lots of leftovers! Takes CASH only!
