Had a nice meal here, but quite pricey, even by Bahamas standards. The food was rather bland, lacking in real oomph that I expect from truly authentic Indian food. We had lamb masala, dal tarka, prawn saag, and a garlic naan and a chapati. The garlic naan and chapati were quite rubbery. Service was slow.

I ate here once and was impressed with the selection, quality and quantity of food. Like most of Nassau it was far from cheap but the interior was well decorated, service fast and friendly and the food very good so was worth the money. If you like Indian food i'd recommend it!

I must say the restaurant is very nice and cozy. Our waitress was nice and helpful. Two dinner entrees, 1 alcoholic beverage, 2 non alcoholic beverages and an appetizer ended up costing me $130 (this includes the %15 gratuity and VAT tax), but it was worth it as the food was goooooood and the portions were very generous as we... Was quite surprised to find such good Indian food in the Bahamas. While it was expensive, but so are all restaurants on the island, the food was worth it. Good portions, and very tasty, authentic Indian food. Went there twice for dinner during our stay.

We enjoyed our dinner here. I had the curry chicken and my co-worker had a lamb dish. All in all, it was a great meal and it felt like a local hangout.

One of the best indian food on the Carribean islands. Great ambience with an amazing service and crew. Must visit if you are in Bahamas and love curry.

Exceptional flavorful options, most especially if you are focused on taking the vegetarian route with respect to eating healthfully. Also, the restaurant never disappoints with its impressively friendly service and attentiveness. So definitely a 'must stop' if you are a foodie, who is a lover of flavourful and health dining out options.

Taj Mahal is strategically located on Parliament street, just up the road from the cruise ship terminal. I highly recommend it for delicious Indian cuisine. The manageress Manjit is a delight and was very helpful in helping choose the perfect dish. Thanks Manjit!
