Went to Lizzie's at Fish Fry's. Friendly service and good food. Free Bahama mama cocktail with every Entrée dish ordered, which was a nice touch. We had conch fritters and the grilled grouper. All dishes were fresh and tasty - loved the plantains and rice. Most of the locals were dressed in their Sunday best and started coming in around... More

The Fish Fry is the local Bahamian's hangout of food shack. The atmosphere is fantastic, the locals are super nice and welcoming. If you want a taste of real Bahamian culture and to escape the touristy areas, go here. It's a bit of a trek from downtown, but not terrible. Well worth it. You can get all of te local... More

I wasn't that impressed. they don't offer free water. you have to buy bottled water at $1.50 a bottle and also the rest rooms weren't working so you had to walk across the street. the food was ok. the conch salad was good.

Picked a spot based on a line of locals. Most were ordering wings and fries and that should have been my cute to try that as well. Nonetheless, I saw lobster and shrimp fritters (12 for $5) and got that instead. Mostly fried dough but very fresh and fast. Will try another hit next time I come to the Fish... More

Most of the places all have the same food but they each look individual and unique. This was one of my favorite places in the Bahamas and a great local experience. I would highly recommend... More
