My husband and I dined at Compass Point on the outdoor deck. We both enjoyed our seafood ravioli and salad, but particularly want to give a big shout out to Elroy, for making the 50th birthday one to remember!

I absolutely adored this place right when I walked up the stairs from the beach. Co-owner, Paco, painted big, colorful, funky foot prints to follow from the beach to the bar. Walking through paths of bright tree house like cabins to the patio was like stepping into Disneyland. The resort was quiet so they let me go out to the... More

Great view from the restaurant and the foods not bad, but its full of the dregs of humanity who look like they've been kicked out of McDonalds for being under dressed! Not my sort of thing.

I ended up coming here for dinner because I couldn't bring myself to stay and eat at my booked accommodation (see separate review). This place is a gem...the service was brilliant and would rank up there with any restaurant anywhere. The food is good, portions are generous, and the views are stunning. I had the prawns, which were so tasty... More

We took the bus from downtown at a local's recommendation, $1.25 each way great deal. We came for a beer (they have one of the best selections on the island) and stayed for the fish. After trying many restaurants, the top ones included, we still had not found an outstanding meal until Compass Point. They had fresh snapper, you pick... More

This wasn't just dinner, it was an experience. Picked our fish from the display, server offered to filet it. Ate hogfish, rum cake, guava cake. Food was way excellent, sunset was beautiful, coffee good. Upper end on the price but well worth it.

Had lunch while waiting for a connecting flight to Exuma. Perfect location, right on the ocean and only a few minutes by taxi from the airport. Great food. Make sure you try the Conch. Staff was outstanding as was the service. Can't wait to go back.

We wanted a nice sunset view and nice dinner and they delivered! It is a beautiful location and less touristy. It was the highlight of our vacation!

Food was nice, but nothing special. We had the seafood pasta which was ok. A decent wine selection, Kendall Jackson chardonnay, Always nice and it went well with the food. But it was nothing special in comparison to some of the other restaurants near by in Gambier. The one thing that cannot be beaten is the view... oh my, a... More

We are doing the local thing on the first half of our vacation and our host recommended this place. Food is delicious, even for picky kids. Fish fingers and fish wrap were winners. Vegan selections as well. The caipirinhas are strong, so put on your drinking shoes.
