This place has good food at great prices. Don't let the fact that the ordering and food come through bulletproof glass with a speaker system. Technically it's "Imperial Take-Away", ever thought there are counters to eat in. The club sandwich and fries is our favorite. The late night crowd makes the line to get your drivers license look like doctors... More

I have been eating at the Imperial since 1984, whenever I visit Nassau, Bahamas. It is a take out, or "take away" as they say. Their food is quality, delicious, and plentiful! There's enough for leftovers!

I have visited the Imperial many times. The fact that the staff are so rude is almost appealing to the place. Do not let this put you off. You order through a glass screen and wait for your order. The food on offer is dependent on the time of day. There's always a wait here but I know that the... More

Had breakfast here twice. Order through an intercom to staff behind bullet proof glass. Most Dishes under $10. Friendly staff and clients. Chicken Souse (pronounced sows) was not at all what I expected- chicken wing soup. Not a typical breakfast dish for me, but was delicious. Great Johnny cakes.

One of the few places in Nassau open late. I saw quite a few locals grabbing food here. Price is decent and food is fresh, tasty and good quantity. I had the seafood platter and I was impressed by the variety of fish they included, there was what looked like a whole conch and quite a few big shrimps as... More

Great alternative to the same-taste-across-the-world-burgers next door! Customer service not their priority and a smile would go a long way. Burgers are tasty but only fish/meat element is hot. The bun is cold. That would be a big enhancement if buns were warm too. "Chicken in da bag" was not freshly cooked. Breakfast menu also available.

When you need some tasty greasy food to soak up that alcohol from the club head to Imperials. Serving burger and fries, club sandwich and local crack conch, it certainly have your late night fix.

I've been shocked at some of the prices of food on the island. Imperial Take Away has reasonable prices and the food is good. The menu is somewhat small but there's a good variety. I've pretty much traveled every inch of Nassau and if you're traveling on a budget you're not going to find much better than here.

Small ' hole in the wall' type of eatery with limited seating with somewhat of a limited menu but the food is local, fresh and reasonably priced

This place has had a make over. From the front door to the cashiers glass anyway. This is a "hole in the wall". It doesn't pretend to be anything more. By Bahamian standards it is cheap. $6.50 for chicken breast and chips(fries). This comes with spicy sauce, HEINZ ketchup sachets, a fork and napkin. For those of us who like... More
