This is the perfect stop on your way back from the beach. Homemade ice cream in a homemade waffle cone or a cup. Gluten free people are accommodated (my wife). We visited twice. I liked the coconut and the chai latte flavors.

You can smell the waffles cones once you park. They are delicious and so is the ice cream. Definitely worth indulging in!!

The ice cream is always good and there's always a short (or long) line. But no free tastes so you may not wanna be too adventurous. Having eaten New England ice cream for a lifetime, I can say that Scoops is very good, with some room to become great.

We visited Scoops several times while in St. John and tried several of their flavors, such as coconut, chocolate, caramel, and coffee (5usd each). Basically, they all were delicious and I have no doubt that the rest all as well. We also enjoyed few smoothies (10usd, 12usd with vegan protein) and they were great as well. Recommendable!

We've been twice so far this trip. I've ordered the orange pineapple sorbet and the toasted coconut ice cream and both were great. It's a great after dinner spot at Mongoose Junction.

When the server didn't seem thrilled about his own product, I should have known better. As an ice cream connoisseur, Scoops misses the dip. The waffle cone was fresh but the ice crystallized ice cream was not. In addition, both flavors, coconut and sea salt caramel tasted fake, not real at all. Had to toss the $7 cone in the... More

Love Love Love St. John Scoops! The flavors change all the time and they are delicious! Some interesting flavors like Honey Lavender and even adult flavors that have alcohol in them. Their homemade waffle cones are a must!

My wife and 5 of our kids visited Scoops during our visit to St John for an after snorkeling treat. The ice cream was very good. I enjoyed the coconut. My wife liked salted caramel. The kids all enjoyed their choices and seeing "Jack" the local cat who graced with a visit.

This is my three sons (and my husband's!) favorite stop to make in Cruz Bay - it's a really fun way for us to finish off our day. They haven't tried an ice cream flavor there that they didn't like and they rotate flavors every few days so there were new options to choose from. The smoothies can be made... More

St. John Scoops is the island's one and only place for homemade ices and creams. We make everything in-house and fresh every day! This means that our flavors are constantly changing, so what you see on the menu one day can be completely different the next day! We offer local fruit flavors like passion fruit, mango, and guava, along with old-time staples like strawberry and vanilla. We mix it up a bit by throwing in some local honey and lavender, or some St. John Brewer's Root Beer (yes, as an ice cream)! Don't worry, we also make some amazing chocolate, cookies & cream, and pistachio among the many other flavors on the rotation. Did we mention that we have something for just the big kids, too? That's right, rum raisin with real rum, painkiller ice cream, champagne sorbet, and the list does go on! When you walk by, you're sure to smell those fresh waffle cones being made...Nothing like a fresh scoop on a fresh cone, that's for sure! We are excited to offer vegan, superfood smoothies made with whole fresh frozen fruits (NO ICE) and an array of amazingly healthy additions to keep minds and bodies happy! Add some hemp or plant protein to make it a complete meal, and you won't feel so bad about all the bars you hit the night before. Virgin Island Coffee Roasters' Fair Trade Organic Sumatran Blend is served hot all day long for those in need of that caffeine buzz. We have lots of options for dairy-free and gluten-free guests, including sorbets and our yummy Slush Puppies.
