Had a 6 PM reservation for dinner seated at the bar so we could watch the sunset. The entree special was triggerfish and was amazing. My husband doesn’t even care for fish and thought it was fantastic. Sean, our bartender was excellent - professional in...skill and fun to talk to. Drinks were very well-made and had fresh squeezed citrus. (Better ingredients make better drinks…) we anticipated eating dinner and then heading out to Cruz Bay for the night, but we actually never left the bar with Sean‘s great service and the really nice atmosphere. We were staying at Gallows Point Resort so the 20 foot walk home was a plus too!More

After 15 years of sunset dining this experience for my and my wife’s Birthday was abysmal to say the least . We made reservations at bar seats where sunset view is best at right end of bar . No problem till we arrived . Were...seated at two worst seats left side of bar. When asked to be moved the seater made us wait and returned to say she could open two better seats but not ones promised. Ok we sit down not to happy and two guys sit next to us and these r seats we were told were reserved . Bar tender asks if they have reservations . They say no and order a drink apiece and no dinner and leave . Then two more show up no reservations and are seated. Remember we were squeezed in .. Order manhattan and old fashion . 23$ and 21 $ . But thats ok a special night but they forgot to put in liquor . Watered down ice. Chicken dish was fine . Stop to talk to manager . Tell him after 15 years never coming back . He says bartender is new . NOT MY PROBLEM . Then waffles about he will talk to hostess . Does us no good . DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY . RATHER WATCH SUNSET FROM BEACH BAR AND GET HONEST FOOD , DRINK AND SERVICE .More

Arrived at restaurant with husband and another couple with a reservation. Stood at front desk for five minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge us. Staff walked by and would t Enron look our way. Finally sat down to a very wrinkled table cloth. It was...ridiculous how bad it looked! Not a great wait staff at all. They all were very cold and unfriendly. Bread delivered without plates. Slow to bring them while bread got cold. Limited menu. Food mediocre. Very expensive and not worth it at all! Many other high end places on St John that are much better. All four of us said never again after service and food.More

This was our splurge dinner while on St John. Not inexpensive, but not over priced for what you get. Ate at a high top on 2nd floor for wonderful sunset view of the bay. Drinks were great, friendly bartender/server. We each had an appetizer (crab...cakes & conch/lobster fritter) yummy! Dinner was excellent as well - Shrimp Ravioli and a strip steak. Really enjoyed the location, food and atmosphere!More

Dinner was just ok. Felt too many of the dishes had a sweet sauce or preparation that ruined the entree. As far as a sunset view, the bar area that is on the front of the 3rd level had a great view of the sunset...and water. However, the tables behind were not situated to see the sunset and 1/2 of the table was looking at a cemetary, construction, and ventilation system. If you are going to see the sunset I would not go with a group, but perhaps as a couple sitting at the bar. The staff was nice and it was a bonus to be able to have valet parking.More

Excellent restaurant. Arrived at 6pm and had bar seating, but had a 14yr old so they graciously shuffled things so we sat at a table in the open air upstairs bar in time for the 6:20 sunset. The views are absolutely spectacular…best sunset view we...saw during our week on St John! Food was excellent, and the El Fuego drink was outstanding. Well worth the price, one of the best meals we had on the island.More

This place needs to change one thing. Seating was horrible. We were seated against the back wall away from several empty tables along the railing overlooking the water. Ok, I understand we were only two people and these empty tables had 4 seats. But, they...immediately seated another couple right next to us even though there were many empty tables throughout this space.I figured all the empty tables would be filled but they never were the whole time we were there. They could have easily given us one of the empty tables for four. We were literally sitting with this other couple. Our tables were separated by 6 inches. I felt sorry for them also, but we could tell they were regulars. This couple was not rude, but they could listen to everything we said and on several occasions joined our conversation. In the end, my wife and I could not enjoy our dinner by ourselves. Too bad. Food was very good. But never again. If you must go here, insist on a table along the railing like in the photo.More

Nice view. Service was good, but the food was underwhelming for the price. It’s been our experience at most St John’s restaurants, but at this price point, it should be better. If it was reasonably priced I wouldn’t complain, but I expected more of a...fine dining experience. The plating and execution of some of our dishes was almost comical. Again, food was ok and service was good, but the foodie in me was let down.More

What a beautiful setting to watch a sunset! The food was quite pricey, and solid but not fabulous. Lobster/conch cakes were a pleasant appetizer. The duck was $56, and had a ring of something like seafood newburg around farro and then a duck breast. Each...of these items were very good but somehow they didn’t go with each other. Pleasant waitstaff.More

Ok food. Good service. Threw a 4% credit card fee on top of our pre fixe meal of $125 if we use a credit card without stating it up front.

To avoid any confusion of my review, I want to give a first hand perspective on the unexpected all inclusive circus act my family got to be a part of at 362 on Christmas Eve: 1. The sole purpose we made our reservation for Christmas...Eve was because of the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day menu they sent us via e-mail over a month ago. We get there and order and 30 minutes later the waitress comes back and says the manager made a mistake and that the menu is only for Christmas Day after confirming our email saying there was a miscommunication in management. 2. We decide to eat there anyway. We wait another 30 minutes alone before we even get our order taken. Another 30 minutes for appetizers and another 45 for dinner and another 15 for dessert. Dinner alone took 2 hours and 45 minutes. Would not recommend anyone over 65 eating here due to time constraints. 3. I was more excited scraping my knee on coral than I was after the food and dessert. Very mediocre food and if you like well seasoned food, pack your own salt and pepper and don’t worry because TSA shouldn’t confiscate it. Go to High Tide, Lovango, or Banana Deck in that order for quality food, service, and atmosphere. 4. Not sure which manager fumbled the menu, but on our way out we learned our discover card wasn’t accepted. No biggie, but when we brought back another card later after running back to the room to get the other card, they tried throwing the absurd notion that tip wasn’t included on the bill when 20% gratuity is clearly stated on every receipt in St. John. Not sure if this was intentional or not but bottom line is either an optometrist or guidance counselor may be needed at Ocean 362.More

Walking into this place on the water (which has a gorgeous view), what could go wrong??! Well the food took 3 hours, the drinks were $200 for one round. And they add 20% gratuity at the end of your meal without letting the customer know....The people to the left and to the right sat down ate and left before I received my food. Now at this point I sound like a spoiled person but the only reason I’m writing this review is to let the public know never to go to this restaurant. Hope they can be transparent with their customers going forward.More

Superb food. Outstanding views of the water and sunset if you are there at that time of day. Fairly limited menu, but so what? It’s all great. We had the butter it squash soup and split a dish of the spinach ravioli. To die for....Nice pace, relaxed, great experience.More

Hi, sorry I missed your question. It's casual but nice. Not a place to be in beach clothes but a sun dress and nice sandals are good. Guys, a polo shirt and nice shorts are fine as well.

I did not see a children's menu online or in the restaurant. The menu selections and restaurant appears geared more towards adults. However, check the online menu to see if your child would enjoy what's available.

Yes! We have a generator that kicks on automatically, so we only notice about 5 seconds of power outage when WAPA goes down. We are happy to serve you during these outages.
