Dinner here was excellent! We made reservations for sunset at the 3rd floor bar. The setting was amazing and I would definitely recommend reserving seats at the bar! The staff was very friendly and the food was superb - I had the salmon on recommendation...from the bartender and it was delicious! Would eat here again next time we are in Cruz Bay.More

Ocean 362 is not worth your time or money on St. John. Overpriced food and unprofessional management. Would not recommend this restaurant.

We’ve been traveling to STJ for 21 years. Locals call it LOVE CITY for a reason. Nowhere do we feel experience that like we do at Ocean 362. We ALWAYS request bar seating, not for the best sunset view on the island (though it is),...but to spend time with bartender Lacey Pritchard. No matter how busy she is, she treats each guest like a special visitor to her home, introducing us to her local friends who now are our friends too — AND she makes STELLAR cocktails. Bonus: the charcuterie (which she recommended) was also stellar — better than we’ve seen on mainland and large enough for the hungriest couple to share. The view is gorgeous, the board was SPECTACULAR, but it was Lacey that made (as always) the evening shine! Cannot wait to go back!More

We almost skipped this place after reading several reviews saying it had gone downhill, etc. So glad we ignored the warnings! The food was brought out quickly and was delicious, the service excellent and fun and the location was lovely. We had a simple meal...- steak salad - meat cooked perfectly, a penne pasta - very tasty sauce, a yummy piña colada and a virgin one, and the decadent dark chocolate cake with some lovely chocolate chip ice cream on the side. It was a great end to our first day on the island.More

We have been to this restaurant several times in the past, and it was always a nice meal. We took family there last night and it was awful. Every aspect of the meal was off. When people in town found out where we’re headed for...dinner they said, “oh, don’t go there.” Now we know why. The food was not good. The music was the radio playing and it was odd to hear ads during the meal. The staff was strange and seemed untrained, hovering, literally walking in circles around the table. The whole restaurant felt like they had no idea what they were doing. You realize the artistry of a good restaurant when you’re in a bad one. Perhaps it’s the labor shortage? The lights kept being turned on and off, the chef had changed and the food was nominal at best. This is not the restaurant it used to be and it’s sad that this place has become what it is, as Gallow’s Point is a nice resort. It’s confusing in all honesty, how this establishment has gotten so bad after being good last year. With a bill of almost $400 I would never recommend going here as you will be disappointed. Great sunset views, and that did not disappoint, but everything else did. We came home, laughed because it was so strange and felt like we had to shake off the very bizarre evening.More

Lovely restaurant at the Gallows Point resort. Sunset views (but it’s hot and sunny), above a tropical paradise resort garden. One exceptional dish was the Fish Chowder. Husband said it’s the best fish soup he’s ever had! Delightful wait staff - Sunny - was very...attentive and helpful. She’ll even give you tips on where to shop for jewelry on St Thomas if you’re interested!More

This place was our first and last dinner on island for our late March trip. We plan to do the same thing for our trip this summer. The food is super fresh and delicious and the service is excellent. The sunset from both the 3rd...floor bar and 2nd floor dining area are brilliant. We went to the other popular dinner venues and they were all great but Ocean 362 was our favorite. Try as much as you can in the appetizer section and split an entree. You won’t be disappointed.More

The view and our server was fabulous. This was our second visit. We came last year. The food was very expensive and just average fare . I don’t mind paying when the food is exceptional. Unfortunately, we will not be back.

My girlfriend and I wanted to experience Ocean 362 at sunset. The view was exquisite but unfortunately the food.. or lack thereof ruined the mood. My girlfriend received her meal and according to her, it was good. I was delivered the wrong meal and sent...it back. 30 minutes later, she was done and we were ready to leave at that point. The urgency and apologies didn't occur until we asked for the check. They did offer to send it home with me in a bag but that was not acceptable service for the price point. On our way out, we asked to speak with the manager who has the same urgency as the kitchen. After a few minutes, it was just time to leave and find another place for me to eat.More

I agree that the service was good and the valet parking was also very good. The fish soup was excellent but that is as far as it goes. We had one “local, fresh” swordfish dinner which was dry and not tasty. A chicken dinner with...a salad. The salad was over dressed and the greens had already turned brown. It was by far the worst meal I have ever eaten ( been served as I couldn’t eat the meal). I felt bad for our waitress because she was very attentive and friendly. We have been coming to St. John for 20 years and have eaten at this restaurant several times. It was truly a disappointment.More

Unlike some other recent reviewers on here, we found the service (including the valet parking) to be excellent. The food is very good (the island fish soup was amazing) and the wine list is reasonably diverse. I agree that the prices are on the higher...side, but only slightly more than some of the other higher end restaurants in Cruz Bay. The setting on the second floor deck is very pleasant with a nice view. If you’re here for the week and dining out each night, then I think this should be one of your stops.More

If upscale pricing should bring top notch food and service, 362 fails. $54 Branzino was ok, but not something I would pay that amount for again. A swordfish, sweet potato special was excellent according to my wife. $50 for that meal. The deserts were standard...fare, but once again high priced. To top it all off, the service left much to be desired. First rule of the table, keep the water glass full. Never happened. Second rule, if the wine bottle is empty, offer more. Never happened. In general, cater to your guest. We barely saw our waitress, other than at a table with four other guests where we half expected her to sit and join them. We still left her a good Tip since, though not attentive, she was pleasant and that’s just who we are. Sadly, we can’t recommend 362 despite the nice sunset atmosphere.More

We had an 8pm reservation for 8 people. They were out of bread. Portions were tiny and crazy expensive. Service was very good. Jasmine was a great waitress. My ceviche was mostly cherry tomato’s and almost no seafood (who puts cherry tomatos in ceviche anyway)....Salads were tiny. Grilled chicken was dry. Short ribs Ragu mostly pasta almost no meat. They could do betterMore

I did not see a children's menu online or in the restaurant. The menu selections and restaurant appears geared more towards adults. However, check the online menu to see if your child would enjoy what's available.
