My wife and I have been to St John about 20 times by conservative estimate. No visit is complete without a stop at this most interesting and fun restaurant! We usually go on live jazz nights and almost every year try to get back for...More

We frequent St John biannually and this time LaTapa was our favorite meal. We had the Sautéed octopus which was fresh and sweet and very flavorful. The pork chop was delicious with very complex savory flavors. It was cooked perfectly. The service was outstanding and...More

We keep coming back here and the food, service and atmosphere are all consistently good. The Tuna entree was excellent as was the foie gras and waffles appetizer. The jazz guitarist added an excellent vibe making for a wonderful evening out.

Excellent food, wine and service! We dined there twice in our week stay on St John. Our waiters were engaging and knowledgeable. We tried several of the appetizers and they were all excellent. I had a tuna and the mahi mahi dish. Both were well...More

Food is always great here (except the croquets). EVERY other dish we have ever tried has been super! Love the atmosphere and service.

We dined here twice while visiting St. John and had great meals both times. The food is excellent and there are daily changes to the menu. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and helped make the overall dining experience wonderful.

Stand by my review 100%. Worst value in St John. No I haven't had too much sun, I went for dinner and was disappointed. If you went and had a different experience that's great.

I'm sure you can find something gluten-free. Most of their seafood small plates would be gluten free. The homemade mozzarella, the salad. Etc. and they are very nice so if you call ahead in sure they can help you.
