The restaurant has a great ambience-Mediterranean cuisine with both indoor and outdoor patio seating. We started with the langoustine appetizer, some stuffed pepper dish and the con pan with 3 dipping sauces to share with our friends. The paella dish was enough for all off us to share. It was mild in flavor but the seafood was prepared perfectly. The... More

My husband and I called ahead on a Saturday afternoon and they were able to fit us in that night. I'm so glad they did because this place is outstanding. We had a bottle of Spanish red. Since it's a tapas place, you order tons of mini plates, so we got quite a few including the cheese plate, pork belly,... More

We were there over New Years with a family of 3 adult kids. The food was good but the tapas part of the menu was expensive for what you got. The cheese was $16 and literally each slice was one bite. Very, Very small portions. I would order the main entrees. The drinks were just OK. Better drinks at Extra... More

Nothing fancy about LaTapa, especially not their silverware -their capital obviously goes into the food they serve so generously. The "small plates" are really quite large; the salt-cod rillettes come 3 to a plate; the fish soup is quite filling; the duck is a whole leg. All delicious.

Our family has been going to LaTapa for over a decade. While the menu changes constantly given whatever is fresh and available, the quality of food has always been superior. Great paella, duck, fishes, mussels, cheeses, salads. Great spot for people watching or just watching the world go by. Wonderful owner and staff. Que Bueno!

A stylish Spanish restaurant in the heart of Cruz Bay serving a variety of small plates. We almost had to miss our reservation (flat tire on the rental) but were saved by the leasing company delivering a loaner car and even calling the owner of the restaurant to "un-cancel" our reservations. We were greeted warmly and seated right away in... More

I was worried after we first sat down that my kids who are picky eaters would not find anything to eat but they loved the artichoke and cheese plate (never would have guessed we would need to order 2) and there was the ever safe pasta with butter and steak. I keep craving the artichoke and mozzarella salad with orange... More

We had dessert here one night (excellent) and my husband begged to go back. I was a bit reluctant, thinking tapas would feel too heavy in the tropics. He prevailed and we were so happy he did! The food was superb, perfect bottle of wine, service was friendly, professional and responsive. The artwork inside is worth a trip alone. Wishing... More

My husband and I dined with a friend and enjoyed a meal of truffled cauliflower soup and three dishes of mussels, langastino shrimps and octopus. All was delicious and fun to share. There was an extraordinary jazz guitarist who played on Tuesday evening. What a delightful night. Both the food and entertainment were superb.
