Our first meal on St. John was at Sam & Jack's - it did not disappoint. If you can figure a way to get up and out of downtown Cruz Bay to The Marketplace, you have to have lunch at Sam & Jack's.

Best sandwich on the island! When i lived on STJ i would eat here at least twice a week! I would recommend that everyone stop in grab a sandwich and head to the beach!!!

We had a beach party for 100 people and this deli made the sandwiches. They were delicious and so fresh! We ordered a variety with different ingredients on different breads, condiments on the side. Every one was outstanding! Highly recommend... located in Starfish Market Plaza.

I got a salad with tuna fish. It had artichokes, roasted red peppers, seeds and it was a lot to eat.

We come to St John every winter and always stop at this deli a couple of times. Really great food, friendly staff and fairly priced. Can't go wrong with a picnic lunch on the beach from Sam and Jack's!

Prepackaged deli meat and cheese - all very high quality. Also they make excellent sandwiches to go here. Bagels with lox and cream cheese are available and a limited number of wines by the bottle. Third floor in the Marketplace, above the Starfish Market. Worth stopping by.

I enjoyed my fried shrimp salad w/ goat cheese, spinach, walnut, & grilled beets. It was a generous size (I couldn't quite finish it all) and they don't skimp on the shrimp, walnuts, or goat cheese. The goat cheese was way better than what I buy back home (Costco). Menu said grilled beets, but they looked like regular beats, but... More

We have been to Sam & Jack's Deli a few times in the past two years. They serve the most wonderful sandwiches (The Jackson and Uncle Peep)to take to the beach, (Trunk Bay, our favorite) and the last time we also picked up a prepared dinner to be used later that day. It was a delicious Dominica Beef with sauteed... More

This is our go to place for lunch on our way to the beach. Sandwiches are big enough for sharing. Great variety. I highly recommend this place.
