Awesome selection from basic, to papaya, to cucumber & jalapeño. Giant cups to take with you as you stroll thru town. What a small world - Megan the bar manager is buddies with a friend from home. What a pleasant surprise in a tiny bar in paradise. We'll be back, for sure!

Being from Texas we were a little worried about trying Mexican food in the islands. But there was nothing to worry about, the food was very good, not exactly what you expect at home, but good flavors! Excellent service and a fun little spot.

As a margarita lover, I had to stop in given the name of this place. Very disappointed. My Margarita was watered down(was surprised to see the bartender pouring the drink out of a gallon water jug). Premixing a cocktail with liquor already included is a big No No in my book. If you are a Margarita lover, I suggest Longboard,... More

Margarita Phil's has become a "go to" dinner stop for our first night on the island. After a long travel day, the large margaritas are just what are needed to slow down to island time. Phil's may be a "hole in the wall" restaurant and bar but the food is great and I love the Ahi tuna tacos.

This is by far not the fanciest restaurant on St. John, but a very good one nevertheless. Food includes classic meals, but also unusual ones (Burritos with Grouper, Enchiladas with Conch). It tastes very good! We arrived pretty late that day for inner and only one meal with Conch was left. If you really want to be sure to get... More

The good, food was OK if a bit overpriced. The bad, the bar looks like it hasn't been cleaned in 10 years. The tequila bottles I asked to look at were crusted in grease and dust, the wall displays were dirty and dingy, and worst of all, the bartender,(who had a little buzz on), took a dirty, used margarita glass... We took the 1 mile hike to Lind Point: Honeymoon Beach and Caneel Bay. Those were excellent and the trail was pretty easy. But it was hot and humid. By the time we got back to town, I was sweaty and ready for a nice lunch. Margarita Phil's was just a block off the trailhead and a perfect spot for... More

We had the good fortune on our recent USVI trip to find Margarita Phil's while walking the streets near Cruz Bay. Outdoor seating, shade trees, nice breeze. Our friendly server (Megan) was amazing, bubbly and helpful. She made great recommendations and we went with the delicious fried grouper sandwiches and giant mango margaritas. It made for one of those vacay... More
