We did take out here our first evening in St. John about 3 weeks ago. Great burgers and very quick and friendly service. Would have liked to just hang out, but due to Covid seating was limited. It was great comfort food to eat in...our Villa after a long day of traveling and mask wearing!!More

Laid back, fun island hang out in the middle of Cruz Bay. Great food and great cocktails. We especially enjoyed the shark bites and the tacos (seriously the best beef taco I've ever had). We'll be back!

Walked through the door and the bartender began to point and yell. A little over the top on covid. I don't think they like people from elsewhere. I suppose the local hammered guys yelling and swearing are the target clientele.

Since 1981 I have visited this spot every time I was on island. Through all of its owners one thing has stayed consistent, the best happy hour and bar food this side of the island. The staff are professional and friendly. This place is a...gem and I can’t wait to get there again.More

I visited Woody's earlier this month, and though disappointed, had no intention to post a review because I was certain that they struggled after dealing with closures due to the covid-19 pandemic. They use rum mass produced in the United States mainland, rather than local...product, frozen seafood when fresh is readily available, and to be completely honest, the wait for a fried food platter is entirely unreasonable. There are many other local businesses nearby that respect the culture of the island, and would be more than happy to see your business, in a safe and respectful atmosphere. I would suggest that you explore other options for dining on St John that do not take advantage of the native population for a decidedly unfunny father's day post.More

Service was super slow and I live on the island so I am accustomed to slow service but this was exceptional. I had finished my meal by the time my wife's food had even arrived. Just gross fried food and I will be going next...door to Tap & Still from now on when I want a good burger. Normally I would pass on sharing my negative thoughts but after seeing their recent explotation of a mentally ill homeless person I had to speak up. P.S. Change your fryer oil, something was of, maybe the fish had turned because it made me have stomach cramps 20 minutes later.More

They pulled a local man for use in this demeaning picture that they then deleted after backlash. They are unethical in their treatment of our island's people, lack of sourcing fresh local rum rather than subpar US rum, and use of frozen, not fresh seafood....Multiple locally owned establishments within walking distance that provide a far superior culinary and cultural experience.More

This "seafood salon" would be better described as a diseased, bug infested shack that does little to honor its incredible history! This place used to be great, but now it's just a hang out for drunks and coke-heads. A real pity!

I've been to Woody's several times over the years. Maybe, once upon a time, wasted, they were a good idea. That day has been long gone, or maybe I just don't drink enough to have judgement that poor anymore. The seafood is all frozen and...imported and less delicious than a Red Lobster (but much more expensive). They stock trash rum made in the US instead of Caribbean rums. They prey on local homeless people to be "funny" and think it's okay. They think Kenny Chesney is a local music. None of us locals even recognize him, or want to. Gross.More

Best fast food on island!! We love to come here for a burger and rings or fried shrimp. Conch fritters tasted a bit different than before but still okay. Of course what would a burger be without a Red Stripe or Pain Killer. Table seating...is limited. Service is always friendly and you are greeted with a smile. Music can be a bit loud inside but if you love to two step you will be fine.More
