New ownership has improved service and food. Ate here several times during our stay. Owner Meghan and associates have brought Woody's back to it's origins. The Painkillers and Sharkbites make for a great Happy Hour combo after snorkeling all day. Quintessential stop along your St. John adventure.

We had a wonderful time deep sea fishing. The Crew prepared our fish and instructed us to take it to Woody's. It was awesome and neat environment. Great service

Where do I begin? I have to say that if there were a rating higher, I would give it. The food? Superb. Price? Super low and a lot of bang for your buck. Location? Awesome. Customer service? The best there is. Just the complete package. So great, that we went twice in 24hours. Hands down the best place we have... More

We always try to eat somewhere "off the beaten path" when traveling. We had Woody's recommended to us and decided to give it a try. We were definitely NOT disappointed. The blackened fish sandwich was tremendous ---- and the Owner / waitress was wonderfully kind. We will eat here again when we return -- I can not recommend this higher!!!!

Country music, great shark bites and lots of drinks.... It was a great low key place for lunch or snack!

What a fun night! The drinks and bartenders are amazing and the atmosphere can't be beat. I can't wait to return for more Pain Killers.

We decided on Woody's for dinner on July 9th. My husband, two adult daughters and I arrived about 4pm and picked the table out front, next to street, for people watching. Our waiter didn't introduce himself, but he was very attentive and gave great service. We shared the Potato Skins and Jalapeño Poppers for appetizers. I got the Grilled Mahi... More

This bar was a taste of home with an island flare. The patrons were so entertaining and the service was great.

We had heard that Woody's was a must visit while in St. John. It is a tiny bar in town with a sitting bar and a few tables inside, and a couple outside. We thought about sitting outside, but one person's chair was literally at the edge of the busy road and did not seem so safe, probably better for... More

We love Woody's and made it a daily stop during our week stay in St. John. Not our first trip to St John, but the first trip with our 3 kids, who quickly realized why we love Woody's! The food is great, try the shark bites for sure, the happy hour ($1 Coors Light and fantastic drinks) can't be beat.... More
